Strength:

Roomy, Is easy to get in and go. Handles nice on the road.

Weakness:

Slanted windows kind of strange to see out of in the back.

We bought this Concorde at 1 yr old.It had a few problems at first. The struts were shot, since the guy must have took it on dirt roads on fishing trips. Factory fixed the struts. (I found hooks in the trunk) It has been a dream come true to own.Beautiful to look at. Great to drive, not to mention the gas mileage is incredible.

Strength:

good handling, you will never feel like you are driving a heavy car. Roomy. Many luxurious features equivalent to top class vehicles.

Weakness:

2001 model does not have 4-way head-rest adjustment, only 2 ways. Road noise can be obvious when riding on roads with bad conditions. Interior materials can be improved.

I have this car since 2001/2 and has about 30000 miles on the car. It still runs like a new car and has no quality problem. 2001 model won the full size car top quality award and I bet they have improved on their quality control. My local Chrysler dealer offers excellent services. Many features come with this car. When fully equipped, it has more features than Volvo, BMW, and Merceddes. Not to mention, it is so much cheaper. Mine has features are like: - 3.2L engine, ABS, Traction Control, Side Airbag, 9 infinity speakers audio system with 4 CD changers, wood trim, power window, power seat, auto-dimm rear mirror, halogen headlights, auto climate control AC, trip computer, Security systems, audio controls on steering wheels, moonroof, programmable keys (can be used for Garagge opener), leather seats, speed sensitive steering handling, alloy wheels, remote truck release and many other good features. By the way, I paid for about $27000 new. By the way, this car is roomy and larger than Nissan Maxima, Acura 3.2 TL, Lexus ES300, and many other vehicles. Also comes with more features than these cars if you go with the limited edition or LXi edition.

Strength:

handles well and drives smoothly at every speed..and its a great vehicle to look at, especially the deep saphire blue color i have for 2001

Weakness:

not many..i guess the road noise but honestly, its not that bad...

my 2001 concorde is an excellent vehicle. it handels well and cruises nicely at high speed. it took a while to get used to backing up because of the high rear end when looking out the rear window but i quickly overcame that.the road noise people have talked about isnt that bad..yes, its there but toloerable. you dont want to open the windows though when driving..then its noisey.so far, after 16 months of driving it i would definitely buy or lease another

Strength:

I am tall, so it has lots of leg room and head room.. It seats 6 comfortably. It handles nice in the snow.(chicago winters suck) It accelerates adequately..but not like it should considering I have the larger engine..I have the 240hp v6.

Weakness:

The entire front end suspension and all its components. Dealing with Chrysler (the company regarding warrantee issues) has been the most unrewarding experience. They make you take it to their dealerships (where my 9 year old, learning disabled daughter can do better) where they mess up the car worse and then lie about it...Chrysler doesnt back up the places that you have take the car in to for repairs..I think that has my undies in a bundle most of all.

Well, I have had more problems with the company than I have had with the concorde. I know that the front end has a lot of flaws.. So, when you hear that "wider is better"...STAY AWAY!! With the concorde being wider, they say that the inner and outer tie-rods go out about every 20-25,000 miles..My rack and pinion went out (thank god for a warranty). I had the entire front end (all suspension components) replaced in the first year that I owned it.. and yes, the wind noise can be annoying while your cruising... I wish they made those window vents for these cars...They are not designed to have the window open a little when it rains out...the rain comes right in the window, regardless of my speed.

I had a ford escort for 6.5 years. It was the most dependable car. I had 174,000 miles on it and it still ran excellent. I only got rid of the car because my daughters and I are all too tall to sit

Looks - Ride - Drive

Weakness:

Road noise, absolutely the worst for long term product quality

Looks, ride and drive, Chrysler has it. After that it''s all down hill. Why can''t these people find decent part suppliers? In all my years I''ve never witnessed anything as bad. Paint failure, power window motors that''s plural, cam sensor, coolant leak, all failed within the first two years of ownership. Is it possible these cars are really Kia''s in disguise?

Strength:

Space, comfort, nice ride, Gas milage is fine

Weakness:

ELECTRICAL Like I stated I had to replace the Throttle Body and TPS unit along with the wiring harness and the Check engine light likes to make an appearance every so often with no further problems. I haven''t even owned it a year yet.

I bought this car used and it has had some major problems that have been covered under warrenty. However, the TPS unit isn''t something that should be bad after 16000 miles. I also had the wiring harness replaced two months later. As far as comfort, this car is wonderfully comfortable and all the adjustments, etc work fine. Everything is where it should be. For the price, I hole my fingers and hope that this turns out to be an ok deal.

Strength:

Good highway car. Seats are comfortable and car feels solid with no shimmy or shake up to 100 mph. Paint job and trim look brand new and I live at the seashore. Factory-equipped speakers combined with upgraded Sony CD player/readio make for a very decent sound system. This car has not leaked one drop of oil in seven years.

Weakness:

At highway speeds the wind noise is a little excessive. Lousy pick up from full stop. Suspension a tad mushy.

I really was shocked to see so many negative reviews on the Concorde. I have had mine for seven years and 130,000 miles and I have had no problems at all. The car has required nothing except standard maintenance and a new set of brakes at 115,000 miles. Perhaps quality control went down the tubes on later models, but mine is just great.

Strength:

Looks good. SMotth ride (until you hit about 50mph).

Weakness:

Far too many to itemize.

Garbage. Despite being one of the best looking cars in Chrysler''s history, it''s all show .... sort of like a SuperModel -- not much behind the looks. If you like visiting your car dealer often, then this car will be a great excuse to chat. Personally, that''s not my idea of quality. Brakes/Rotors/ALignmet at 14,000 miles(largely highway). Chrysler refused to pay for all of it - had to threatent he dealership to cough up the rest. Incidentally, they are in need of replacement AGAIN at 24,000 miles. Power window motor broke twice. Two separate emissions repairs. The washer fluid tank ruptured, they claimed it was "damaged" in some sort of a collision and not under warranty -- I ask, how do you "damage" one single under hood compnent in a "collision"? -- $138. Front speakers blown. Can''t wait to see what else goes wrong. First and Last Chrysler!!!!!

Strength:

The styling on this car was lovely. Lots of nice amenities, electric seats, climate control, etc.

Weakness:

The single most unreliable vehicle I have ever experienced.

Avoid this car at all costs! Even while the car was under warranty there was plenty going wrong. We had to replace the windshield twice because the fitting was so poor that water would drip into the lap of a front seat passenger whenever it rained. We also needed to have the air conditioner serviced more than once because it broke regularly.

More serious concerns were a fuel rail problem that cost us a great deal of money to repair (later there was recall...) and not one, but 2 transmissions that we needed to replace.

Before this car we only purchased American vehicles as a rule in our family. Now we have a Toyota...
