Looks Roomy Quiet ride
Weakness:
The electrical system And the speed accelaration is terrible. This is a very nice car. It is huge in the inside, very roomy. This is a good traveling car going long places. This car does have some defects though. When I brought my car the first week it did not start up on me. Took is back to the dealer and they say it was something with the springs in the car. Now how can that cause it from not starting you tell me. So when they claim they fixed it. I discovered another problem. The speedometer was not working so that means I can't tell how fast I was going. Also my mileage were locked. So about three months later (you guessed it) another issue. This time it is irritable. The take off on my car is slow as ever. I mean I press my foot all the way on the pedal and I move like a turtle (seriously no joking). Then my gears were not switching coorectly and the car kept cutting off at certain high speeds. So agian I took it back to the dealer and they says it was only a fuse that caused all of that. one fuse I said. The fuse that caused the speedometer to stop working. So they say that it should run properly. The speedometer is working and the gears are switching but my take off is still terrible I mean something is terribly wrong here. If anyone out there know how to resolve this issue or is having the same problem. Please let me know. |

Safety. Daul airbags are a nice feature and this thing probably weighs enough to go through a brick wall without even giving you whiplash.
Weakness:
About everything under the hood. I'm very happy that I was not the one to pay for this car. Although with the money I put into fixing this car I probably could have bought a more reliable and older Honda. The Transmission went out at 50K miles ($2000), the Water pump went out at 70K miles ($400), It goes through brakes and struts like crazy (I don't even remember how much I've put into that) and the air conditioner hasn't worked since I got the car and I'm not replacing it. The only purpose this car serves right now is as a trade in for my purchase of a 1998 Honda Civic next month (although I'm not expecting much for it). I don't understand why American car companies can't make a car that actually works. The Japanese seem to have no problems with this so why can't we follow there example? Don't buy this car or any other like it. Similar Products Used: 83 Ford Fairmont. Had it for 3 months before it died. |

Smooth ride Great highway car Pretty good original audio Good looks
Weakness:
Slightly soft suspension Molding in some spots comes loose Rear power window motor failed Bought the new model of Concorde LXi after seeing it written up well. The new design turned heads originally and still is nice. I like this model better than the brand new Concorde grille design. Have had my share of small issues like loose molding problems around headlights, door/body, interior lighting dimmer switching when it's hazy or twilight, steering wheel wrap deteriorates especially when wet. Generally a very good car with good engine and transmission operation. 125,000 miles so far - intend to get to 200K. It's not a high-end car and if people are having problems like me, they should spend the extra $20K and get a BMW. |

Price of car for what you get! Interior room, Gas milage, Great looks. Dependable.
Weakness:
Chrome rims are optional, should be standard. Trim on the inside could be fancier. But overall a great car. I would have to say that this car is by far one of the best cars I have owned. At a price I can afford, and still get the looks from a luxury car. I too can't believe this car is not rated a five out of five. Finally a car that makes sense, good on gas, lots of room, and great looks. I put on alot of miles my car, and so far not one problem. With regular up keep, this car keeps going and going. Chrysler in my opinion, has made a well built car with the concord. Similar Products Used: grand marque, bonneville. |

Strength:
Attractive body style. Spacious trunk and plenty of room in the back seat. Good sound system
Weakness:
Terrible body integrity(body molding and other parts fall right off) Constant and costly repairs. Transmission problems Overall I am disappointed with the Concorde and probably will not get another chrysler. I've had serveral Chryslers in the past, but this vehicle has totally change my mind about Chrysler products. I have had nothing but problems since purchasing it eight months ago. Days after purchasing I had frontend problems. Then the door molding began to fall off the back doors. When I took it in to Chrysler they wanted to charge me a great deal to repair it and they also told me the belts were going bad (the vehicle only had 40K miles). One day while opening the driver door the door trim near the floor board fell off. I've had problems with the power windows. Chrysler tells me the motor for the window has to be replaced. In the last week the vehicle lost power and the engine light came on. The engine codes indicate transmission problem. The CD player stopped working a few weeks ago. I've only had the vehicle 8 months and I'm spending too much money and time keeping the vehicle running. If I could return the vehicle and ask for my money back I would. From reading other reviews, many of the problems are similar, why isn't Chrysler doing something about it? Similar Products Used: 1995 Chrysler New Yorker other Chrysler/Dodge vehicles |

Strength:
Beutiful, well integrated design for a full size car, size, sophisticated and responsive if not overtly urgent engine, cargo capacity, value.
Weakness:
Engine could be stronger -- and is on the LXi - but even the LX w/ the 2.7L is adequate. I'm shocked this car isn't reviewed closer to 5 of 5. It is a terrific car for the money and superior in virtually every way to direct competitors in its price class. I've had only very minor maintenance concerns in 3 years with the car (far less than w/ all the other new cars I've owned). The size makes it very versatile, and the HUGE trunk makes it a great stuff hauler for a family, while it's sharp enough to show up in at the Bar Association luncheon and even get a few nods. It has cost thousands of dollars to keep it running. My brother owns this but I thought that i'd write a review on it. It is such a cool car. It handles great, is very very fast, is comfortable and has power everything. It looks awsome. He had to replace alot of things on it but i am glad that he still has it. Similar Products Used: N/A |

Roomy interior, good gas milage, great looking car
Weakness:
poor acceleration, molding around the headlights are coming off, molding inside the back doors are coming off. The trunk opens when its ready. My concorde is a great looking car, but I undersestimated the quality. Because of my hieght, it has plenty of room for me to fit comfortably. I expected a little more out of this car but so far, its been ok. I''ve had problems with the accelerator sticking and scaring me to death!! (twice) My trunk pops open when its in the mood. The gas milage is ok and great on long trips. Similar Products Used: infiniti j30 |
