Strength:

its a damn sexxy car with nice lines and it looks soo tuff with gts light covers and the sound of the engine with my intake is soo crazzy its awesome.

Weakness:

ahahah nothing the car is a tuff son of a B*tch. i'd say its built better than any jap car around

my lumina kicks ass i put a flowmaster muffler and a new performance cat and its soo damn loud its louder than most vettes and vipers. people not belive its a lumina when they hear it. the engine kicks it has soo much torque it will break ur neck. the 1st gear is soo good it peels out way through 1st. the car is a b@stard now. it has never had 1 problem even when my sister owned it i have 95,000 miles on it and i beat the sh*t out of this car and it never gives up. the car seems like it wont break i try to kill it and it wont die. i put racing fuel in it trying to break some of the gaskets so i can get a new car but it takes it. the car is tuff. it blows away hondas and other jap cr@ps. and some mustangs. cause the engine is soo tuff me and my friends are gona jack it up with some nos and racing fuel to see if it will break.

Strength:

Good body, if you are ever in an accident, you will be protected...as long as the brakes don't give out...again

Weakness:

Where do I begin? The brakes have to be fixed every three months because the brakes suck, Of course, GM did pay money to people with the problem, but the count off year was 1993. Everyone else got screwed inculding me. Doesn't handle snow very well and the speakers in the car suck to. There is a big problem with the oil gasket, it's had to be replaced four or five times, each time, it costs about a hundered and we have had to have the gas tank replaced two times too..In other words, don't waste your time!

Although it looked like a good car at the time, the delearship neglected to inform anyone of the problems with the car. I think more money has been spent fixing it then what was paid for it. In other words, don't waste your time or money on this...as my friends like to say, it's a piece...

Strength:

Organization under the hood. Tough car. Some get up and go for its class. Dependable.

Weakness:

Spark plug location, bad control relay, sun faded

This car is great. I was driving a '95 Cobra before I got this car and it was a bit of a downgrade in the speed department. But this Lumina has to be one of the easiest cars to work on. The water pump is very accessible from the top and I was able to replace that myself. The spark plugs are not as accessible, you have to rotate the engine forward to get at them--but I probably won't have to replace them before I have to replace the car itself. It currently has 150000 miles on it and I expect to get another 100000 miles out of it. Great car for small family and great car for a novice mechanic.

Strength:

Roomy. Starts all the time. Never has left me stranded. Good on gas.

Weakness:

The one cupholder broke after a year. Clear coat has started to peel off... after 10 years of Michigan cold and Utah heat.

First new car I ever purchased. Coming up on 200,000 miles very shortly. It has only ever needed routine upkeep and replacement, brakes, hoses, etc. I am not a mechanic or rich, it just starts every time, gets me to where I'm going and looks pretty nifty doing it.

Strength:

It has comfortable seats, good power behind it, nice looking and mechanically sound.

Weakness:

The brakes are extremely squeaky, even after having them replaced. The trunk hinges are a problem when you need to load up the trunk(they limit your space). The wipers don't always turn on right away, sometimes you need to turn them on high before they kick on. This happens after you haven't used them in awhile.

Iv'e only had this car for about 10 months but I just love it. It gives a smooth comfortable ride. Knock on wood, I haven't had any problems with it yet.
