Strength:

Fuel Mileage, seat comfort, low cost per mile of operation.

Weakness:

Poor quality paint work glove box door rattle speed limiter

Drove this car 200 miles per day for the first 10 months with zero problems to report. Car is equipt with electric everything including the sun roof. Very road worthy on long trips and extremely inexpensive to operate. As with the other 2 Cavaliers I own, this car is a real gem. I am currently looking for number 4. I only wish they hadn't put a speed limiter in them.

Strength:

-Looks pretty good -Relatively cheap.

Weakness:

-Interior is all cheap plastic -Sunroof falling apart -Temperature and gas gauges have broken -Dash shorted out once -Keyless entry no longer works -AC has broken

I got this car new about 5 months ago and already have loads of problems. I really wish I would have gone ahead and bought a civic or celica or something. I will never...ever by a domestic car again...much less a Chevy.

Lots of torque strong body good all weather driving

Weakness:

noises...typical of old vehicles

Great car. V6, 5spd. 250k and still running as quick as I need it. Because of it's age I've had to replace many worn out parts...but hey, it is 16 years old. Still get the low 0-60 times. It's nice to come off the lights before the BMW next to me ;)

Strength:

Easy driving, fun to drive.

Weakness:

My big problem is the doors freeze. Rain or snow runs into the top of the door and freezed the rubber stip. The car handle is so plastic that pulling will break it. The only way to get into the car is to pour hot water on the doors. I am just waiting for the time that the window freezes. I woul like a dealer fix for this but they tell me all their customers have this problem. Nothing they can do. It sure has stranded me many times in winter!!!

It is a great zippy car with low gas mileage. A little uncomfortable but I can cope with that. I have 62,000 miles on it. It is not a car for the weather below 30 degrees.

I only had this car for 2 years, bought it brand new and it broke down for good. I took it to the dealer and they said the head gasket broke, damaged the engine and it wasn't worth fixing! I've found out on the internet that several people had the same promble with the head gasket and is sueing in small claims court with sucesse. I advise you not to buy this crapy car!

Strength:

The body loods good.

Weakness:

Hard Ride, dimness of head lights, seat belts not long enough. also hanging, brakes light bulb and signal light bulb burnt out before 6 months, ground wire needed repairing. Body lacks tightness, road noise is increasing/noise on right side of car. High gas mileage already

The 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier LS that I have is not one that I would recommend to anyone. This car is a lemon and I am stuck paying for it. It is a sad and disturbing fact that Americans work hard for their money and get stuck with lemons. If there are problems now, God knows what I will have to face in the future. No confidence in this car or Chevrolet to resolve the problem.
