Strength:
six speed 200 hp, interior headroom. The headroom has increased substantially since the integra. Get off the fence and buy the RSX. Trust me forget about the Suburu WRX -- I Did.
Weakness:
The limited options available, ie. heated seats, power seats, etc... Type S, Buy, Buy, Buy. A great car, and oh so much fun! Similar Products Used: Acura Integra, BMW 530i, volvo and accord |

Acura RSX Type S
Strength:
I have to say this is the best performing machine i have ever owned. A perfect combination of power, handling, and smooth trans. for the enthusiast driver in me.
Weakness:
No major weakness i see, just the wheel/tire combo. A 17in combo could have been offered. A very affordable high-performance vehicle. Give it couple years, there will be plenty enough aftermarket parts to make this car perform like the high-priced exotics. Overall this car is great for daily driving, in xpressway, or just around town. Similar Products Used: A ''93 Mazda MX6 LS |

Weakness:
Interior noise level and peaky performance of the S type make the base model more suited to my needs. Drove this model in both base and S type. Base model offers a combination of function, performance, reliability, and value which will be hard to beat at this price point.S type offers great performance with firm ride and sharp handling. With my commute I think the base model would make a better daily driver. Strength:
Nice shape Great wheels Comfortable (although haven''t sat in back) Fuel economy Driving by Integras and having them check you out! Follow-up to Integra - Last forever too?
Weakness:
Sound system could be better, but not bad. I find the gas pedal a bit too touchy and when in stop and go traffic, you have to use the clutch a lot. I test drove the base model last August and fell in love with it. Unfortunately, I bought a New Passat instead. Drove it for 6 months and found it really wasn''t the car I wanted, so I traded it in and bought the RSX. Love the car. I''m not into racing so the base model suits me fine. Car feels tight and built extremely well. Compare it to the Integra and the improvements make the car 100% better. I like the hatchback. This little car can move, so it''s a good thing I didn''t get the type S! Similar Products Used: 5 speed New Passat Turbo ''91 GMC pickup (5 speed) |

Strength:
Very powerful, fun to drive, beautiful color(firepepper pearl), 6speed, all the god stuff.
Weakness:
crunching when going to second gear engine replaced November 2002 body roll very bouncy in curves airbags don''t work My best friend purchased a type-s back on 9/11/01, yes I said September 11th. This is a very powerful, fascinating car. The fun factor should be a 10. But on January 29, 2002 she (my best friend), for some reason left the road (we don''t know why because she is still in a coma) but her airbags did not deploy- side, front, none at all. This was a frontal crash directly center of the Acura emblem at about 50 mph-HMMMM?????? Are''nt airbags supposed to deploy???? Acura IS investigating. :-( |

Strength:
-Real world acceleration and handling -Lots of cargo space with rear seats down -Understated good looks -A great value -Acura quality
Weakness:
Some blind spots This is a great car all around car, fun to drive and the hatch provides a lot of storage with the rear seats down. For the real world, there''s plenty of acceleration and the handling is superb. If I lived in some isolated area I would have bought the Type-S but not many of us do and thus have very little opportunity to take advantage of the extra power. With all you get, a great value. Strength:
Superb gearbox--great feel to shift; ridgid body structure; Honda quality.
Weakness:
See my review. I can''t share the enthusiasm of the others on this car. OK, I''m older than the intended ''20-something'' range; that means more experience with many other fine vehicles over the years. RSX does a number of things very well but others poorly. You''ve heard much about how great the RSX is, so here''s the other side: poor low end torque, infrequent strange hesitation immediately after shifting (probably fuel starve condition from ULEV tuning), harsh ride when used in real-life conditions. So-so styling. Similar Products Used: Acura Integra, Honda Accord, VW GTI, BMW 3-series |
