Strength:
Excellent condition Presidential package, 77.000 miles, new tires.
Weakness:
None, want to sell to purchase new Lincoln. Excellent road car, quiet, good travelling. Similar Products Used: Second Linclon both excellent. |

Strength:
Leg room is quite large. Soft ride for my boss Tony.
Weakness:
The trunk room is not as great as my 95 Town Car. Now my crew and I can only fit 1 dead body instead of 2. Trunk is simply too shallow. Leather interior in Cartier edition is a must. Just make sure you place plastic coverings over the seats before you whack the guy. My Town Car has the run-flat option in case the Feds try to shoot out our tires. lincoln town car
Strength:
Cloud-like ride, ample power for accelerating and passing, absolutely silky shifts
Weakness:
fuel consumption, though admirable on highway, is not great in city I never fail to be impressed with this car. I chose a 95 because I'm not crazy about the newer, rounder Town Cars. It accelerates and brakes with such ease, and I can rarely feel when the silky transmission shifts gears. Looking over the sizable hood and seeing the legendary Lincloln Crosshairs hood ornament ready to lay waste to any other car I see fit is just a never ending pleasure. I will never drive anything else. Similar Products Used: cadillac deville; mercedes |

Town Car
Strength:
I own an Executive. No longer is the Town Car a classic boxy Geritol-generation luxury car. This BIG bohemeth boasts a new dramatic contemporary design is geared for the 40-50 yr. old consumer. The huge cabin has lots of glass for improved visibility and an airier feel. Instrument panels and gauges are smartly placed and operate efficiently. Plenty of headroom (unlike smaller luxury imports). The seats themselves are thick, comfortable and rich-looking. Roominess, in front and back, is excellent. Exceptionally large "3 body" trunk. For a car this size, the 200-horsepower 4.6-liter V-8 (Exectutive) lends itself to 17 mpg (city); 25 mpg (highway) which impressed me. The ride is smooth and quiet. While small Japanese and European so called luxury cars continue to down-size, Lincoln to me has proved that ``bigger is sometimes better.''
Weakness:
Could stand 20-30 more horse power. CD player should be standard not optional in the Exectutive Series. Big, imposing, powerful and full of history; it conveys the perfect image of refinement and strength. One note, however: the Town Car can only be purchased in black. Any other color would make me look like a retiree setting out for his weekly golf game. If Michael Corleone trusted his hide to American manufacturers, it is good enough for me, capiche? TownCar Signature
Strength:
Handles extremely well, quick acceleration. No rust. 103,000 miles, feels like brand new. Nice instrument panel is digital, easy to use. Burns no oil, transmission engages and switches gears easily.
Weakness:
Light in rear, avgs. 15.8 mpg in city. Vehicle simply has exceptional handling. Wide back seat and front seat, plan to drive it through 2003. Body has no rust, wonderfully powerful engine. Leather roof has maintained well. Similar Products Used: 1999 Cadillac, Lincoln a better ride all around, better suspension and classier than Cadillacs. |

lincoln town car (exec series)
Strength:
Beautiful body style inside and out. Great power to weight ratio. Easily handled a Nissan 300zx by half a car length from a red light. Air supspension gives an unmatched ride and support of the vehicle. Handles great for a big car. Extremely roomy and comfortable on the inside. I am 6'4" tall and have more than enough room for me and my things up front OR in the trunk which could easily accomodate a 27" tv if need be. Automatic climate controls and headlights (on/off/dimmer) take the hassle out of fumbling with knobs and switches. TONS of useful information behind the steering wheel where the speedometer is located. Definitely dependable and darn good on the highway
Weakness:
City driving gas mileage not great. Takes a while to wash (big car). Needs xenon head lights (not blue). Light in the rear end not good in bad weather (ice). I would definitely recommend this car to a SERIOUS driver looking for superior comfort, luxury, power and reliability. Similar Products Used: I have driven big cars all my life and this one is the best all around. |

Lincoln Town Car Cartier
Strength:
Very roomy car, The leather seats are very comfortable, the engine is very smooth and fuel efficient for a big V8, The car actually looks good, The sunroof is huge. The 5 passenger version is better than the 6 Passenger, The tires grip better than you think. The ride is very good.
Weakness:
Could use Xenon headlamps, The motor just needs 35 extra horses but other than that it has adequate acceleration and passing power. Touring suspension needs firmer shocks. A great luxury car and the only one that doesn't look like a BMW. The Town Car is a great buy for 40k. Similar Products Used: Cadillac Deville: The Deville is uglier and less reliable than the Town Car. |

Strength:
Recently traded my 1996 TC Signature Touring Sedan for a 2000 TC Signature with the tu-tone paint (pearl/parchment) What a great car, this newest edition of the Town Car is quiet and rides better than my 1996 which I enjoyed without complaint since Dec 1995....no unscheduled service. Flawless and dependable performance...and I expect the same from this new 2000 model. The seat are better (if you can believe they could actually improve on the best seat of any car) the suspension is perfect and balanced. The Watts linkage keeps car in a straight line with ease. My 1996 would average 24-26mpg on the highway, add that to comfort and quietness of this car and you can duplicate it anywhere for the price.
Weakness:
no day time running light, could use about 25 more hp Paid $44,310 dealer incentive $10,000 (yes, $10K off) trade of 1996 $16,000 Similar Products Used: 1996 Lincoln Sig. TC Touring |

Strength:
Torquey and smooth v-8. very fuel eficcient for this class of cars. standard leather seating. nice ride and quiet interior. love the automatic a/c system. good stereo.
Weakness:
could use more power. i would like better acceleration. the trunk is somewhat a trouble to close sometimes. trunk opening button is on bottom of drivers side door. which makes it hard to reach. i paid 20,000 dollars for it and it was well worth it. i prefer the lincolns over caddys cause the lincolns have a lower price and are usually more reliable than cadillac's. I recommend this car to older adults whose kids dont live with them, because its just a senior citizen type of car.
