Strength:

Couldn't believe how quiet it is inside the cabin. When your driving on the highway, you can practically wisper to the person sitting in the back and they will hear you. Silky smooth at speed. Incredible fit and finish. Did I mention how quiet it is? Sound system is super- I'm talking about the standard one. How could anyone say the stereo is no good in this car?

Weakness:

Handling- feels like a boat- but my last car was a 99 328i.

Yes, I would recommend it for a couple that want's a auto for travel.

What are the strength of a 'perfect car'........A lexus badge, with a toyota reliability, what's more to add! Would recommend this to any!

Weakness:

Whats not to like....(ok ok) i do admit that the dealer servicing is pricy, but then again, this aint a ford! GROW UP!...its a lexus!

I love this car, its nice and very quiet! I think that this is why little has changed in years about lexus...besides being more and more attractive. Althought dealership prices can empty your bank accounts, but why go for the 100 dollar oil change! (its the same oil), go to toyota, and get it from there....only do major servicing from lexus...thats WORTH IT!....
happy cruzin'

Strength:

Good Looking Car, smooth ride when not having to change gears.

Weakness:

wind noise, very jerky transmission, and LOUSY dealer service. They don't hold to commitments when something is wrong.

Won't spend another red cent at the dealer. I think I just got a bad apple and they won't admit it..

Strength:

Everything. It is the perfect car for under $50,000. I test drove a $50,000 BMW, and the Lexus is so much better, in so many ways.

Weakness:

NOTHING. 0

I paid 18000 for it. It was an unbelievabley cheap price. It has very low miles, mint condition. It is the most comfortable car I have ever driven in. The stereo is the best stereo system i have ever heard. It is so clean sounding and powerful when necessary. I would give it more than 5 Stars.

In dash lights and headlights

I recommend this car to anyone in the market for a reasonably priced luxury sedan. Very roomy, clean, and runs great.

Strength:

Roomy interior
Quiet cabin
Good power and handling

Weakness:

Styling resembles Toyota Avalon too much, plastic two-tone looks cheap, could have had better wheels for the price, "Ford-like" sound system, expensive to have worked on, and they should not have "Lexus" written in gold letters above the radio, I guess this is to remind you that you're not in a Avalon.

The ES drives and handles well, but lacks in styling and conviences. Why pay for the ES when you can get an Avalon for thousands less.

I love how it looks, feels when driving it, lots of power, and all the cool stuff in it (sounds, and the devices)

Weakness:

I think if your lookin at a Honda Accord EX V-6 you should look at this car because its soooooo much better then the Accord or Camry for the same price.

My first car, its better then an 2000 Honda Accord EX V-6, I thought this car was better so my parents got it for me for the same price of the accord. My friends think its so cool driving a Lexus, but I dont drive it to high school.

Strength:

Are you kidding? What's not to like? Leather, CD Player, Moonroof, Heated seats, Quiet as anything? It just goes and goes and goes. I have 140k miles on it now and it runs and looks great. I'm considering keeping this car for another 10 years.

Weakness:

Nothing. This car does virtually everything I want it to.

I have to highly recommend this vehicle. I've had lots of cars and can't bear the thought of going to any other manufacturer.

Toyota knows their customer and deserves to own this market. I'll post another update at 200k and 300k miles. So far all I've paid for are tires, brakes, gas and oil.

Smooth Ride, Styling, Fast Car~!

Weakness:

Bad Handling on Highways,Noisy(Winds),Need more larger trunk, 24K Gold emblems......awful~! Wood-dash reflects the sun-lights,and it hits my eyes very often.

Finally, I still think this Lexus is the best car. I had not a single problems since I bought this car Sep 99. Even though, I knew that new models were coming out soon. Well, what can I say? I just love this car so much though~!

It looks better than Infiniti I30, or Oldsmobile. But the Acura 3.2TL, I kind a like it,Because the Acura does not offer you any options except Navigation system, which Lexus es300 does not have. Also, Acura has Xenon lights, and all the goodies...Everything included with car price at around $32,855 (Just in-case of that you changed your mind over Lexus to Acura..)

Strength:

very quiet and very smooth and very classy. love the leather seats and how the dash lights up. The horsepower on the car is decent but could use alittle bit more ponies under the hood

Weakness:

CD changer is optional and the handling is terrible

This car cost me around $30k it's a nice car but if I can turn back time I would not buy the ES300 and I would not recommend it to my friends.
I would perfer the Acura TL over the ES300 because alost everything is standard and it costs less.
