Strength:
Just the right amount of stiffness for performance driving. With a higher rear spring rate increase than the front, I have less understeer now.
Weakness:
Strut manufactuers need to get with the program and offer their sport struts for the 3rd gen accords. No Koni sport's or Bilstein sports. Only option is Bilstein H.D.'s, Koni specials. H.D.'s barely have enough power! I wanted lowering springs that offered a less than 2" drop and offered a greater rear spring rate increase than the fronts were increased. Only the H&R's offered the higher rear rate I was looking for. They certainly stiffer than stock by a wide margin, just right not to stiff. The car corners flatter, has next to no brake dive, and doesn't bob up and down as I'm on and off the gas between gears. H&R says's they are progressive, but they don't feel like it very much, which is cool with me as I didn't want them to be progressive. Similar Products Used: stock |

Strength:
Handling, highway ride quality, responsiveness. Looks.
Weakness:
With stock shocks you feel too bumpy after hitting just a pebble. H&R Sport Springs gave a 2" drop without increase in tire and wheel size. I am impressed with the look it does not look too low but you can notice the drop. I went with H&R because of there reputation and customer service kindness. Similar Products Used: Stock. |
