Strength:
-great on asphalt
Weakness:
-wears easily if driven too hard For a decent set of everyday tires, you can't beat a set of the Supersports for $120. They provide the grip and strength of a performance tire, and last just as long as any stock tire. Though they can be somewhat noisy, the the performance and feel outweigh all the bad points. Just don't skid through every corner, unless you can afford a new set every year. Similar Products Used: None |

A good all around all season Tire. Very good in the rain. Good on dry. Not a HIGH performance tire but a very good
Weakness:
Not as sticky as I thought for dry, but better then Gatorbacks. Not too bad in snow, got caught in Mountains in freak snowstorm and made it Home with no problems. Paid $1,200.00 4 years ago. A good all season tire. I 1/4 mile my car and slalom race with it. Not the stickest but don't have to hide from the rain either. Similar Products Used: Gatorbacks |

Strength:
Versatility-excellent all-season tire, snow, rain and dry handling is very high. Well built, with strong side walls. Treadwear has been excellent after 10k miles. I used these in 5 autocross meets last year and they performed admirably.
Weakness:
Honestly nothing... I paid $125 ea., balanced and mounted. I highly recommend to someone that want a good high performance all-season tire. Not the g-forces of a race tire, but if you can make compromises, this is the tire. Similar Products Used: Goodyear Eagle GTII & GT+4, BFGoodrich Comp TA VR4 |

The price of the tire was definitely a consideration when deciding to make the initial purchase. The reputation of Pirelli tires was second, and the stated treadwear (UTOG 340). The dry handling is good for up to 7/10 of high speed driving, with wet handling above average. The tire has good turn in feed back and quick response considering I am driving a mid-sized car. Snow handling is average.
Weakness:
The tire is a bit noisier than my Goodyears Gatorbacks that I replaced and one of the Pirelli 7000ss suffered a sidewall blow out at freeway speeds. The tire was only 60% worn. No warranty was available. I got about 36k miles on the entire set, before having to now decide again do I want to go with these tires again. I feel that for a UTOG rating of 340, I should have seen closer to 45k miles. My Audi A4 turbo quattro, has Continentials that are UTOG rated 320 and has 37k miles and the tires are only worn 40%. Go figure. I paid $122 each about 20 months ago. Now they are about $140 each. I may try another set because for an all season high performance tire, this is still a relatively good value. I just wish Pirelli would rate the tire wear more realistically. This tire should say UTOG 275~285. Then again, I may go with a set of Dunlops. Strength:
Good price for a Z rated tire
Weakness:
Loud, a lot of road noise that gets worse as time goes on. Overall, I was not satisfied with this tire and would not recommend it. I put on Blizzak's this winter to replace these, and the snow tires are MUCH quieter! |

Strength:
Good rain tires. Not too bad on dry either.
Weakness:
Not as sticky as some tires but with a threadwear of 300 I didn't expect them to be. They did what they were supposed to. Similar Products Used: None |
