None I am using 215/45 ZR17s on my Alfa 147. The ride quality is good and firm yet sufficiently comfortable, steering precise and and tire noise low at all speeds. However one major one problem is its serious lack of traction... they squeal and drift in corners and lose their footing easily under sudden/hard braking or with sudden swerving. On the other hand, the loss of traction in corners is gradual and can be controlled... but that doesn''t make the lack of grip any more acceptable. Similar Products Used: None |

Road noise, and Tire ware.
Weakness:
Wet traction. I do nor roccomand driving in snow, even though these tires are all season. I was very disapointed. My stock tires were much better. We traction was horrible, and dry traction was not great either. Similar Products Used: Goodyear Eagle F1-GS. Now these were great tires, the dry/wet traction were suprior, I think I will go back to them. |

strong side wall. Corner's excellently. good wet and dry.
Weakness:
not as sticky as i would like at the rear. Was so much suprior to the stock Mich. although i went from a 245/45 to a 275 /40. Handling in the dry is good. Handling in the wet is just as well.As for the snow this car was never made for snow, only one try. Handled well but no rear end traction.Tread wear is as was expected. Strength:
-Good in snow, for a preformance tire.
Weakness:
-Wears much faster than it's ratings indicate (mine are ready to be replaced at 25k miles and I have the alignment checked regularly). Consider these tires if wet and snow traction are very important to you. Do not consider them if dry roadholding is what you are looking for. Do not be fooled by the high wear rating of this tire. They probably won't last as long as my Dunlop SP8000, which had a much lower wear rating. Similar Products Used: Dunlop SP8000 (OEM on my car)--the Dunlops were better in the dry, but the Pirellis are better in the wet and in snow. |

Strength:
Comfortable
Weakness:
Poor dry traction for a Z- rated all-season "ULTRA HIGH Performance Tire" What made me buy this tire was the look and heritage of the tire. I expected a really grippy tire since this tire is the successor of Pirelli's ultra-high peformance P700Z tire. I was disappointed to say the least. Not only do the tires feel "mushy" in turn-in response, but constant dry grip is not any better than most standard high-performance H- or V-rated all-season tires. Don't expect "Z-rated-ultra-high" dry performance with this tire, although wet grip is the best I've seen. Similar Products Used: Toyo Proxes FZ4: Much better turn-in response and overall dry grip; looks fatter than the P7000 SS of the same size; price is comparable; wet traction not as good |

Strength:
Tough tire; will outlast everything else on your car. Good resistance to hydroplaning. Very cheap relative to competitors' tires.
Weakness:
Noisy tire; very hard compound results in poorer cornering than other comparable tires. Tires tend to lose grip very quickly when pushing car to limits, and also tends to slide without much squeal-warning in advance. Turn-in is poor; my A4 has pretty neutral steering, but with these tires, oversteer is always a problem. I paid $149 a tire at Tire Rack for 225/40ZR18. It's by far the cheapest 18" tire out there, and in terms of endurance, this tire will outlast your engine. Well worth it if you just want some rubber to wrap around your rims. Similar Products Used: Bridgestone S-02 Potenza -- Buy this tire...it's much better and well worth the extra money. Corners extremely well, performs admirably in the wet, is soft (good for road feel), and yet somehow lasts well over 20,000 miles. |

The tires seem to have moderately good dry performance. Price is not bad either
Weakness:
Wear quickly. These have to be absolutely the worst wet tire in its class. I had maybe 1000 miles on them and was travelling the sped limit. It had just started to rain and I was approaching a yellow light. I began to press the brake and the tires locked up. I slid through the intersection! Luckily nothing was coming! Since then, if I step on the gas in 1st gear, the tires break loose. As soon as the began to wear, I bought a new set of bridgestones. These tires are an accident waiting to happen. :( Similar Products Used: Bridgestone S02 pole position |

Reasonable but unexceptional dry grip; satisfactory wet grip. Price is reasonable, as is the wear so far. Hmm, what else can I say: Umm, they're round, they're black, they frame my 17" rims nicely and protect them from dings. Plus the car gets lots of looks.
Weakness:
I found this site on a Google search using the terms "Pirelli P7000 Supersport" and "noisy." About 60 hits - no surprise! This is my third spring on these 225-45 17" tires and they are beginning to make one helluva roar, particularly at urban road speeds. Reading reviews of other tires gives me the perverse hope that mine will hurry up and wear out quickly so I can finally try something different! Similar Products Used: No similar products used |

Weakness:
They maybe a little noisy, but all of the tires on my GT Conv have been. Great tire! I have experienced great traction, handling, and many miles. I have over 57000 miles on my set of 225/55 ZR in front and 245/50 ZR in the rear. So with no rotating and driving nearly 200 miles a day these tires have lasted me over 18 months. I still have plenty of miles on the front, possibly another year or so, but the rear is become worn in the center and will need replacing around 60000 miles. Similar Products Used: None |

No more squeal during fast turns. Very predictable. I drive this car for fun, so I can be a bit hard on tires. These can take it. Handle well in rain.
Weakness:
Nothing really. Paid $550.00 for a set of 4, out the door. I would reccomend these tires to Similar Products Used: Much better than the Goodyear RSA's that came on the car. BIG improvement. |
