fair ride, fair in rain
Weakness:
tread wear is bad, bad, bad! was told was a 50,000 mile tire. have about 28,ooo and tread is gone. not a very good product for us at all. highway miles only should last better than this. have read other reviews who have same problems. company should be held responisible for full refund for customers, then might put correct milage rating out there! thanks Similar Products Used: can't say i've ever had a similar tire as bad as these. |

Goodyear Wrangler AT/S
Strength:
Good Traction
Weakness:
I can't find the size I want to buy in my area. For 9 years I drove Jeep Wranglers with these tires on them that pulled 3 trailers transporting an average of 80 people on a boardwalk in a resort town along the Atlantic coast. We had 8 "trains" with these tires and I or my coworkers ever experienced the weak sidewall feeling. We seldom had flats but occationally had soft tires. When that happened we pumped them up and kept on going. We drove on these 8-15 hours a day. The most remarkable fact was the good traction. Even in sand on concrete they would only skip 2-3 times until they dug in and pulled the weight. These tires pulled a load the entire time. So, I just don't understand what you boys are whining about. Only when on wet roads if you take off like a race car driver then they fish tail but if you pull out with a slow start these tires are good road hugging tires. |

Strength:
They're black and round
Weakness:
Weak sidewalk, irregular wear pattern even with proper alignment, pressure and rotation. They're not bf goodrich all terrains These tires are junk! They came with a full size blazer I bought six months ago. The sidewalls are typical wrangler-flimsy. I use my truck for all purposes, it sees alot of time in the woods and the tire's performance can only be described as terrible. The best use for these tires is as swings in the backyard. I'll be replacing them with bfg all terrains, like my other truck. Similar Products Used: Bf goodrich all terrain, cooper discovery, general grabber |

Strength:
Good Ride, not too noisy.
Weakness:
Durability, toughness These came on my Z71 Suburban. After about 50K miles and my third tread puncture, I had them replaced. The dealer said they were basically passenger car tires on a heavy, off-road vehicle. The 4 ply rating will not hold up to driving back roads and rough terrain. I would fault GM as much as Goodyear for putting these tires on a vehicle that is supposed to be for off-road use. Similar Products Used: Replaced with American Prospectors. Tough tires but they are getting a little noisy after 20K miles. |

Perhaps Off-road
Weakness:
Sidewall strength, sidewall strength, and sidewall strength. Too sloppy on-road First day, these tires suck. Only reason I have them is because Michelin quit making the tires I had on the truck. These will probably prove themselves more capable off road than my Michelins, but the on-road perfomance is downright sloppy. These sidewalls must be made of Jello, cause that's what it feels like you're driving on. I tow a lot and am considering putting these pieces of junk on the front just to avoid the inevitable fishtail. Poor, poor tire, shame on you Goodyear Similar Products Used: Michelin LTX MS, BFG AT |
