    Strength:

Great off road or in the snow. I will never get stuck again

    Weakness:

Road noies increased a lot compaired to my old tires.

Great off road and snow tire. I have not had to use 4 wheel drive yet this winter. These tires have a great look. I have around 48,000 miles on these tires and they still look new. By far the best tire I have ever bought!

    Strength:

Tread shows very little wear after 40+K miles.

    Weakness:

Sidewall failure on all 4 tires after only 43K miles.

After 43K miles with regular tire rotations, the tread on my Wranglers remains nearly new. However, the sidewalls on each tire exhibit 1/16" deep cracks running the full circumference about 2 inches below the tread. I will be purchasing 10-ply tires to replace the Wranglers just for peace of mind as I do tow a light travel trailer often.

    Strength:

    Good ride, good traction

    Weakness:

Too expensive, too soft, tire wears irregualrly

I've had two sets of ATS's on this truck spanning 5 years. The first set was on the stock 7 inch rims and lasted 40,000 miles, the second set is on Mickey Thompson 8 inch rims that have 30,000 miles on them. The second set's tread is pretty much gone at 30,000. These tires ride really nice and have good traction off-road (sand dunes, trails) as well as good manners in the snow. That's the good part. The bad part is the rapid and uneven tread wear even with frequent tire rotation. I've had two sets over 5 years and 70K miles and I'm done with them. Goodbye Goodyear.

    Strength:

The truck is a Cummins turbodiesel so I can't say that interior noise is much of an issue, but I don't hear any extra noise from the tires.

    Weakness:

None, they were worth the price!

When I bought my truck used, it had new Coopers up front and new Michelins in the rear, both sets were LT245/75/16. Almost immediately a Cooper blew out, so I bought a Goodyear AT/S to replace it. Two years later, the AT/S barely showed wear, and it was time to replace the other tires! Of course, I replaced them with a new set of AT/S tires, and put the used AT/S on the spare rim!

good traction, and wear. only tire i've ever had that got over 50,000 miles out of.

    Weakness:

    price

this is the second vehicle i've had with these tires on them. the first was a 99 model that i traded with 65000 miles. the tires still had at least 20000+ miles of tread left on them when i traded. i talked the dealer into swapping the rt/s tires on my truck with the at/s on another truck as part of my truck deal. he didn't understand the big deal, but they do now. i just put new tires on yesterday for the first time. i got 100,400 miles out of the original factory at/s. funny they tried to talk me into another brand, but i would have none of that. i drive alot on the highway, and drive as much off paved surfaces as most people drive on paved surfaces each year. these tires have performed flawlessly in snow, rain, in the mountains, across rice fields, on logging roads and logging sets.

astounding snow traction, wet traction, and street.

    Weakness:

pick up rocks easy. cant tell about wear yet.

I have a lifted cherokee and the previous tires that i had on it were 31x10.50 muds. Needing tires and a quieter ride, i went around looking for tires that just might fit the bill. I found the at-s and fell in love. It wasnt too aggressive to be noisy, but sure as hell wasnt tame either. i love the looks of the tires (especially the bigger 32x11.50 size) and they have so far outpreformed the old muds except in really deep or sticky goo.

    Wear and noise

I felt these tire were great for traction. Road noise was noticable but not too bad. A little stiff but they are truck tires. Hunted in the rockies without chains. Excellent traction. Thought they wore a little too fast for the milage. 40K and they would spin in light rain.
