Strength:

I love this tire. The RSA's were factory installed on my 1999 Lumina LTZ. I am on my second set and have gotten over 44,000 miles out of each set. The RSA is a great dry condition tire and provides good driver feed back when pushed to the limit.

Weakness:

This tire is a challange for drivers with low driving skills. It does slide a bit in wet conditions and struggles in heavy snow and ice for those less gifted working the controls.

I will be purchasing another set of RSA P225-60R16 for my Grand Prix GT this weekend.

Tires are the only ones I use love them.

Weakness:

I had a flat tire a few weeks ago and goodyear is national out of stock!! I NEED MY CAR! Still no sign of when I can get one.

If I can't get one soon I will change brand of tire which I have used for several years. And go out and buy 4 new tires of a different brand, this is ridiculous! My car has been sitting in the garaqge for weeks!!! And I need it.

Great dry traction.

Weakness:

Almost have to replace them after 11,000 miles. Terrible traction in the rain with hydroplane. A little rougher ride.

Dont get them.

Weakness:

where do I start

I replaced my original tires, Michelin Pilot MXM4 that had 45,000 mls on them, with the Eagle RSA's mainly because of the price of the MXM4s. I have had trouble with these tires from day one. They won't stay in balance or alignment and are freaking noisey. Also, vibrate badly at speed of 80+. Next time I will just "bite the bullett" and fork out the $$$$ for the Michelin MXM4s.

Strength:

Great dry traction

Weakness:

This might just be a personal issue, but I've picked up more nails with these than any other tire ever.

I bought these tires, drove my truck to the local track a week later, and cut a 2.02 60'. My truck is bone stock, save for exhaust and a tonneau cover. My best on the brand new set of Hankook Ventus' was a 2.21.
Wet traction is awful.
The tires don't seem to be wearing too badly.
If I can keep getting them for as far under list as I did, I'll probably keep buying them. Otherwise, I'm moving on to Nitto 555r's.

I put a set of these on my lexus, granted ive only drove less than 10k but my traction is great. Everybody is looking for a high mileage great traction cheap tire. They don't exist. This tire has been discontinued but is a great tire if you want comfort and a good looking tire.

Strength:

Decent performance in wet and dry, but nothing to write home about.

Weakness:

Tires don't last

These tires came as stock on my 2004 Mazda 3. Performance wise I don't have many complaints. The traction is fine, they do OK in wet condition, there was occasional hydroplaning but I usually attribute that to my driving rather than the tire. I never felt unsafe driving with these until they started really wearing down. However, by about 22000 miles (with standard rotating and maintenance), the front tires were in desperate need of replacement. Since I don't drive alot, these tires lasted about 5 years, but under more standard conditions this tire would have lasted maybe 2 years, which seems rather low to me. Looking at other reviews, this seems like a common problem. Safety and durability are my 2 requirements for tires, and these definitely don't meet that second one.

They are still black.

Weakness:

Noisey, can't handle normal driving conditions that another tire can.

I have sold my car. Took it into Fairway Acura in Kitchener. They were doing a safety and suddenly I received a call. Guess what your right something wrong with not one but two back tires. I couldn't believe it. Now I am purchasing two new tires with only 29,200 km. That is just sad. What the hell are be making out there???
