1999 Malibu LS
Strength:
Stability (Specially at high Speeds), Quick Response, Excellent Wet Traction & Great Stopping Response.
Weakness:
Not that quiet of a ride under 60 mph (City). My experience with these tires up to now was incredible. I mean I am totally pleased with their performance. I drive 90 miles everyday to work and these tires perform incredibly good. The drive at 60 mph or higher, the ride is very smooth. During rainy season, these tires do not Hydro plane at all. I live in South Florida and we had some showers lately and on the highways, I go 65 to 80 mph during rain storms and the car would handle as if it wasn't raining at all. I would give this tire a rating of at least 4 stars out of 5. Similar Products Used: Firestone Affinity: The Firestone cannot even get close to the Dunlop D60 A2. I would day no comparisson at all. |

Strength:
Good Handling and braking, lasts a long time
Weakness:
Very Noisy and prone to vibration- Noise gets worse as the tire gets older. The Dunlops are just too noisy and poor in the snow. My Infiniti slid all over the place this winter with these tires. They do handle well and grip well during braking. The noise and vibration simply gets worse as they get older. NOT recommended for people seeking quiet smooth touring tire. Good for youung driver who wants grip and doesnt mind the noise. Similar Products Used: None |

Strength:
Great threadwear, good handling and wet/dry traction, great low price.
Weakness:
Rides a bit rough, squeals when pushed around corners, questionable puncture resistance, small sidewall blemishes even when new. Good daily commuter tire with excellent wear (got 45k miles out of this set), sidewalls flex accompanied by cornering squeals, got 2 nail punctures within the first 9 months (slow leaks, no flats) maybe just bad luck, patched and still worked well. |
