Excellent dry and very good wet traction. No squeal in hard cornering. Price. Availability. Wear.
Weakness:
Since this tire is popular right now, local dealers charge full list. Seems to be auto specific, so a caviat is in place. After having these tires for over a year now I am still very happy. After reading a number of reviews it seems these tires peform different on different cars. The wet traction is excellent compared to my last set of Mich's. Very good cornering and no tire squeal. This past winter we had a ton of snow in Boston and I had very little trouble. Yes, I wished these gripped better, but these are not snow tires. Still, they did the job for me.Wear is also very good with these and it looks like I will get a lot of miles out of these babies. Many friends have installed them without any problems, but once again, these seem to be car specific. Tire Rack has the best deal and have them put on at Costco. My cost per tire installed with shipping was 70.00. Similar Products Used: mich', Yoko, |

Great grip on dry pavement. Great performance at high speeds
Weakness:
Absolutely awful in snow These tires were great when I bought my Legend. I bought my car used, and the tires were fairly new upon purchase. I drive very hard and burnout a lot, and they have held up well. I have also driven in excess of 140 Mph on these tires with no problems. Only problem : TERRIBLE IN SNOW!!! I can't even get the car out of the driveway when there is an inch of snow on the ground |

Noisy. No traction in snow. None. Scary. Could be the worst tire I've ever driven on. May be car-tire match has something to do with it. At 65mph on the highway, we can't hear each other over the tire noise, and that's in a relatively quiet minivan. And in the snow...I'm the only car that has to be towed out of my parents country driveway when we visit. The only one. |

Strength:
Good dry performance. Comfortable for every day driving.
Weakness:
Snow is a killer. Wet is so-so. I put these on my Corolla to replace the Goodyear Integrity that came standard. I got them with a set of rims I picked up elsewhere a year before but tires were the wrong size at that time. They were exact fit for Corolla. Noticeable improvement in handling vs GY. Slight decreased ride comfort, but made up for by better handling and cornering. As they were rated all-season, I expected that I could leave them on for the winter as my wife just used the car to commute to the subway station. After she spun out on the way home one day, I knew I had to switch. These things are like slicks in the snow. Even the lightest foot on the gas pedal causes these things to spin out. I put the OE Goodyears back on and they are a huge improvement. Certainly not snow tire performance but at least respectable all-season. Overall, a good summer tire, but if you have any hint of snow where you live, don't plan to use them year round. |

Strength:
Dry traction for the first 1/2 of the treadlife. Price. Treadlife as they lasted through 40,000 miles of my agressive driving so far.
Weakness:
faster wear on the middle of the tread as compared to the outer edges. as tread wears, wet performance also declines. These tires are probably the best ones so far that i have had on my car. I drive a second generation acura integra and ive gone through the stock michelins, bridgestone eagers, and some goodyears. These are probably the best ones ive had on the car to date. I did also notice how they wear more on the middle of the tread than on the edges. My car is lowered 2 inches without a camber adjustment kit but i know what adjustments to manually make to the factory alignment settings to get even wear on the tires(as ive gotten even wear on 3 sets so far only the stock michelins had the initial wear) Another thing that alot of people were complaining about was the excessive vibrations, that seems to be caused by the separation of the tiretread. I have driven a car with goodyear tires that had that problem which turned out to be the tires as the car was taken to a mechanic and also a suspension/steering/brake shop and they both confirmed that it was the tires. Got new tires and that solved the problem. Similar Products Used: michelin, goodyear, bridgestone, (future yok avs es100's) |

Strength:
Adequate traction in dry and wet. Price. Seem to wear well.
Weakness:
Horrible in snow. Not for true performance use. These tires were on the car when I bought it. They offer adequate dry and wet weather traction for an H rated tire. They can be downright scary in the snow, however. I will replace these tires with a V or Z rated performance tire for 3 season use and a set of dedicated snow tires for the winter. I just wish they would wear out faster. I would recommend these tires to someone looking for a good value for a 3 season tire which will see little performance driving. Cheap price maybe
Weakness:
can''t go anywhere in snow and don''t think about changing lanes in the snow or rain or you might die Horrible tire In the rain you get tossed all over and in the snow it gets even worse I couldn''t go anywhere. The center section wears out very quickly and gets very unpredictable on snow and ice. Not much of a performance tire also slid around corners terrible. This tire sucks Similar Products Used: I haven''t used anything like this. I''ve had tires with flat spots that handle better |

Strength:
Less expensive
Weakness:
You get what you pay for.. Put brand new tires earlier this year. After just 15,000 miles in Upstate NY (it doesn''t get too hot here), two of the tires were so worn they had to be replaced. Had them re-balanced at 10,000 miles too. Very noisy too (probably related to the excessive wear ?). These tires are not worth the money or trouble. Similar Products Used: None |

Strength:
They're round and they fit the car. My Honda's been lowered, has a 2" exhaust, header and intake: it's still pulling at 125mph. I wanted an all season tire for the winter, but that's not what the D60/A2 is!
Weakness:
These tires don't hook-up easily from a stop, in the rain: they spin and the car hops sideways, as other cars motor by. Wet cornering grip feels "greasy", and doesn't inspire confidence; wet braking performance is lacking. Snow traction is OK when going straight, but turning is a not a confidence inspiring move. Starting in snow is marginal. These tires don't have enough grip for quick starts in the dry, or for dry cornering or dry braking. Canadians pay through the nose for tires, and rims, but I paid waaay too much for these tires. I'm looking forward to tryng the RE-930's, now on the car, in the snow, but their wet and dry performance is an improvement over the D60/A2's. cheap, reasonable mileage
Weakness:
weak in the rain, nearly lethal in the snow. I will not be tempted by the cost of these tires again. I couldn't wait until they were worn out to replace them. The all-weather label on these tires is a joke. These tires broke loose easily in the rain, a total disaster in the snow. This is the only all-weather tire I was unable to run in the snow for its' first season. Similar Products Used: Goodyear Eagle GT is FAR superior in all conditions. |
