Strength:
cheap, quiet, braking improved
Weakness:
mushy and wiggly (don't expect to corner in these) I had cheapo Jupiter all season tires, and upgraded to this on my 92 Honda Accord. As soon as I put these tires on 3 things I noticed: Similar Products Used: Jupiter cheapo tires |

Strength:
They worked well the first couple months in dry road conditions (Latter summer and fall)
Weakness:
Horrible in snow...a lot of sliding and poor grip. I had others drive it to verify how poor it handled in winter driving conditions...Tread didn't even last a year, and there was no excessive driving and even the person at Sears questioned how the tread could be so bad. Yes, we had a hard winter, however if these are "all weather" tires, they should have survived at least one winter. Similar Products Used: First set of tires on this car - Bridgestone and they lasted their full life expectancy...Replaced with these...now onto Goodyear |

Strength:
Excellent under braking. Great wet weather performance. Superior corning grip. Best tires I have ever owned.
Weakness:
Not good in snow, buy some Michelin Artic Alpins for winter I drive about 35000 miles a year. I am a aggressive, brake at the last possible second kind of driver who likes to corner as quickly as possible. These tires are awesome. They give amazing grip in wet and dry and are very predictable. Similar Products Used: goodyear aquatread - Dunlop is much better under braking and hard fast cornering |

Strength:
Some dry traction. Very stable side walls on 50 series. I had a flat
Weakness:
Lousy quality. The tread separates on these tires causing alignment I bought these tires because of there good review in Consumer Reports and Similar Products Used: BF T/A tires. Better in every way. No fooling. The D60's are easy to |

Strength:
Good roadholding, long life
Weakness:
Unfixable vibration above 60 MPH I wanted to like these tires because the price was right and they had received positive reviews. But they have had terrible vibration problems since the day I bought them, and two different shops have not been able to correct the problem after re-balancing the wheels on five different occasions. The vibration is pretty much constant about 60 MPH, and worst around 67 MPH, which is very annoying on freeways. The vibration shakes Similar Products Used: Dunlop SP-8000, much faster tread wear (but this was on a heavier Volvo) |

Strength:
A very long lasting tire. 150,000 km each or thereabouts on 3 sets of tirels 195 70/R14's. Good directional stability on freeway driving. OEM tire for 93 Camry LE's
Weakness:
As tire wears down to 4/32 start thinking of changing as they become unstable and hydroplane. Not exceptional in snow Great experience with the Dunlop D60 A2. Discontinued distribution in Canada however and looking for alternatives. Similar Products Used: None |

Strength:
These tires handle very well on dry pavement. I can drive at high speeds on curves with complete confidence. The car is extremely responsive with these tires.
Weakness:
The tread depth on the center section is not very deep. As a result, the center wears out very quickly wich affects the tires wet weather performance. When new, these tires handle wet weather very well, but that quickly goes away once the center wears out. This tire sucks in the snow. This is a very good performance tire. If Dunlop would work on the center section wear problem, I would definetly buy this tire again. They are rated to 40,000 miles, but I have got almost 50,000 miles out of them so I guess I can't complain too much. Similar Products Used: Firestone Firehawk FTX (stock on 94' SL2) |

Strength:
Very responsive on dry ground, not loud on the freeway at all. A great high performance tire
Weakness:
Not so great in the snow, I have the Jointless Band ones and they lose traction quite easily People seem to have had problems with these tires in regards to snow traction and noise. Well, I do agree about the snow traction, these tires aren't that great. I have anti-locking brakes on my car and the tire seem to have lost traction very easily. However I don't agree with the noise problems of these tires. They are not loud at all and I do a lot of highway driving at roughly 75mph on average. They have awesome dry performance, I like to take corners fast in my car and the tires perform really well. I am most happy with their dry performance! Similar Products Used: None |

Strength:
Excellent dry handling for the money... at least while they last!
Weakness:
This is the second pair of these tires that I have had. The first pair lasted just shy of 25k miles, the second only 18k! Due to the "thinner" center tread, NTB claims that I over-inflated my tires which caused the wear. however, even by measuring a new tire (12-6-12) and mine (6-3-6) you will find EXACT even wear (32psi! as recommended!). Weakness:
Do not grip the road in wet or dry conditions. The dealer sold me a 45,000 mile tire that only lasted 22,000 miles (thankfully). From the day that they were installed, the vehicle performance (traction and handling) diminished. The tires did not hold the road under quick acceleration, hard braking, or cornering. Wet conditions only made it worse. Similar Products Used: Does not come close to Yokahama tires in price, quality, or wearability. |
