Strength:

cheap, quiet, braking improved

Weakness:

mushy and wiggly (don't expect to corner in these)
Lost all sense of steering feel.

I had cheapo Jupiter all season tires, and upgraded to this on my 92 Honda Accord. As soon as I put these tires on 3 things I noticed:
Braking was better
Tires were quieter
Steering/handling turned mushy.

[I'm a pretty agressive driver.]
Do not let anyone convice you these are performance tires. They grip okay but have an extremely mushy sidewall, which took out all the steering feel on my Accord.
These tires don't really corner so much as they plow vaguely in the general direction your're turning (this is at all speeds).

Overall they would suite my grandmother, but for me they're a let down.

Strength:

They worked well the first couple months in dry road conditions (Latter summer and fall)

Weakness:

Horrible in snow...a lot of sliding and poor grip.

I had others drive it to verify how poor it handled in winter driving conditions...Tread didn't even last a year, and there was no excessive driving and even the person at Sears questioned how the tread could be so bad. Yes, we had a hard winter, however if these are "all weather" tires, they should have survived at least one winter.

Even after alignment by dealer, the tires wanted to pull a lot. Did everything possible to correct, which now includes new tires by different company

Strength:

Excellent under braking. Great wet weather performance. Superior corning grip. Best tires I have ever owned.

Weakness:

Not good in snow, buy some Michelin Artic Alpins for winter

I drive about 35000 miles a year. I am a aggressive, brake at the last possible second kind of driver who likes to corner as quickly as possible. These tires are awesome. They give amazing grip in wet and dry and are very predictable.

Strength:

Some dry traction. Very stable side walls on 50 series. I had a flat
from a bent rim and did not even know it.

Weakness:

Lousy quality. The tread separates on these tires causing alignment
problem on three of the cars and REALLY bad shaking on another. They
simply fall apart after a year or so. Lost traction making hard turns in
a couple situations. SUPER HORRIBLE in snow. I switched to some BF T/A
tires and was much better. Bad wet traction.

I bought these tires because of there good review in Consumer Reports and
have been regretting it ever since. Mostly because of there tread
separation problems that could lead to a dangerious blow out. They are
very noisy tires. God help you in the snow and in the rain. I could
not believe how bad they are in the rain. I have since replace these
Junks with BF touring TA TR4 which according to Tire Racks surveys are
better in every way. The speed rating is not there but it seems that
I will not be going over 130MPH any time soon. It also seems that the
higher the speed rating on a tire the easier they get trashed from pot
holes. I also am now a Firestone Firehawk tire fan. I would of bought
the Touring LH but they were $15 more a piece and the SS20 did not test
to good in the snow.

BF T/A tires. Better in every way. No fooling. The D60's are easy to
break loose the TA's hold tight.

Strength:

Good roadholding, long life

Weakness:

Unfixable vibration above 60 MPH

I wanted to like these tires because the price was right and they had received positive reviews. But they have had terrible vibration problems since the day I bought them, and two different shops have not been able to correct the problem after re-balancing the wheels on five different occasions. The vibration is pretty much constant about 60 MPH, and worst around 67 MPH, which is very annoying on freeways. The vibration shakes
the steering wheel and sometimes the whole car. The shops insist there must be something wrong with the car, not the tires, but I disproved this theory by swapping wheels around myself to figure out which tires were worst. At least two were bad, but the shop would only replace the one that was visibly out-of-round. So I have to live with the problem on the others until they all wear out or I get sick of the problem; it's been a year now and the tires hardly look worn (sigh).

Aside from the vibration problem these are good tires, with good grip, feel, and longevity. Perhaps they'd better on a heavy car (my '88 Integra is about 300 pounds lighter than a new Integra).

Strength:

A very long lasting tire. 150,000 km each or thereabouts on 3 sets of tirels 195 70/R14's. Good directional stability on freeway driving. OEM tire for 93 Camry LE's

Weakness:

As tire wears down to 4/32 start thinking of changing as they become unstable and hydroplane. Not exceptional in snow

Great experience with the Dunlop D60 A2. Discontinued distribution in Canada however and looking for alternatives.

Strength:

These tires handle very well on dry pavement. I can drive at high speeds on curves with complete confidence. The car is extremely responsive with these tires.

Weakness:

The tread depth on the center section is not very deep. As a result, the center wears out very quickly wich affects the tires wet weather performance. When new, these tires handle wet weather very well, but that quickly goes away once the center wears out. This tire sucks in the snow.

This is a very good performance tire. If Dunlop would work on the center section wear problem, I would definetly buy this tire again. They are rated to 40,000 miles, but I have got almost 50,000 miles out of them so I guess I can't complain too much.

Strength:

Very responsive on dry ground, not loud on the freeway at all. A great high performance tire

Weakness:

Not so great in the snow, I have the Jointless Band ones and they lose traction quite easily

People seem to have had problems with these tires in regards to snow traction and noise. Well, I do agree about the snow traction, these tires aren't that great. I have anti-locking brakes on my car and the tire seem to have lost traction very easily. However I don't agree with the noise problems of these tires. They are not loud at all and I do a lot of highway driving at roughly 75mph on average. They have awesome dry performance, I like to take corners fast in my car and the tires perform really well. I am most happy with their dry performance!

Strength:

Excellent dry handling for the money... at least while they last!

Weakness:

This is the second pair of these tires that I have had. The first pair lasted just shy of 25k miles, the second only 18k! Due to the "thinner" center tread, NTB claims that I over-inflated my tires which caused the wear. however, even by measuring a new tire (12-6-12) and mine (6-3-6) you will find EXACT even wear (32psi! as recommended!).
DOWN with ntb and never again will I own these tires!

Weakness:

Do not grip the road in wet or dry conditions.

The dealer sold me a 45,000 mile tire that only lasted 22,000 miles (thankfully). From the day that they were installed, the vehicle performance (traction and handling) diminished. The tires did not hold the road under quick acceleration, hard braking, or cornering. Wet conditions only made it worse.
On top of poor overall handling, the tires were loud. I went back to the dealer multiple times, and to Dunlop 3 times. Each time I was informed that the tires were performing as they were supposed to. There is no way that anyone could have designed such a horrible product and remained employed.
I have not idea why they were rated so highly by Consumer Reports.
