Lasted 107,000 Miles
Weakness:
A little noisier than a smoother street tire, but worth it if you live in snow country. The BF Goodrich Long Trail T/A P225/70R16 came as standard equipment on my 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe. The tire lasted 107,000 miles. The spare was never used. |

Can't think of any, so far. Outstanding tire for the Highlander! Good tread wear so far, smooth, no balance problems.

Strength:
Excellent grip in all weather, worked great in snow, rain and dry.
Weakness:
At 51,000 miles they are starting to slip in the heavy rain/puddles. These came on my Hyundai and they have proven to be fantastic. I am now at 51,000 miles and I will be replacing them with another set. |

Strength:
Wear is even, does great in rain, long lasting tread. but like any tire you should always keep air pressure correct and rotate and balance every 5-10 thousand miles.
Weakness:
Like i said it does not do great in snow or ice but hey this is not a snow tire. I have almost 80,000 miles on these tires I drive my truck hard and travel up and down the state of Florida constantly. I live in South Florida and deal with large masses of rain during the summer time and these tires have always had great traction regardless of their age. I would recomend these tires to anyone looking for a great truck tire at a great price. The only downside is they don't do snow or ice so well but hey they are not snow tires so i cant bash them for that. Trust me, as a teenager, i put my truck and tires through hell and they are both still running solid 80000 miles later. TEEN TESTED AND APPROVED |

Good traction, excellent wear.

none My wife has a 2002 Santa Fe with 82,000 miles. The BF Goodrich Radial Long Trail T/A *still* pass the "Lincoln's head on a penny" test - Amazing! I will definitely replace with another set of BF Goodrich Radial Long Trail T/A and I think I'll put them on my Colorado when the stock tires wear out at 45-50K miles. |

The white side lettering gets worn looking Ihave over 350,000 miles on my Tahoe and have used the BF Goodrich Longtrail T/A's since I bought it new. I'm only on my 4th set of tires and they have plenty of wear left.I moved from Wisconsin to Florida over 3 years ago. They preformed equally well in the cold or heat. |

Overall these tires seemed fine for the first 10-20000 km. But excessive wear has made me switch tires at 48000km. These tires came with my 03 xterra they were ok, but in the rain were not great. I do nothing but highway drive and the tires are finished. |

BFGoodrich Longtrail T/A
Strength:
For their price, excellent tires. Great on dry pavement and dry rocks. Very durable, Extremely light weight. Good handling on wet, dry and in powder snow (Ice, don't even try...as with any non-studded tire)
Weakness:
Weak white lettering that looks good till you wheel it or go onto the job site. Floor it on a wet road, don't expect to go anywhere anytime soon (that might be the truck, now I have a canopy and it doesn't do that as much)...small rocks have a habit of getting stuck in the tread so you have to pick them out sometimes. I purchased these because I wanted a good all arounder and didn't have alot of money. I run my truck on the trails, but spend more time on pavement, so I couldn't get swampers like I wanted for it. I saw these and liked how they looked over their competitor's tires. When I purchased the truck, I had General tires in the front and some off-brand in the rear, they were lousy, misbalanced and felt flat spotted. I got the Long Trails and didn't notice any hydroplaning on the way home like I would with my other tires. Similar Products Used: General something tires Some 3rd world off brand piece of crap.. |

Strength:
Even wear, high mileage, quiet.
Weakness:
Poor snow traction, poor wet weather traction in old age. Long lasting tire, I have probably 70-80k on this set with a lot left to go. Snow traction is zero in 2WD fine in 4WD since new, with 7/32 tread left wet weather traction is getting slippery. I thought that these would be a good quiet replacement for the stock Uniroyal Laredo's but found them lacking where it counts! If it takes noise for traction then I'll live with it.Replacements are coming soon in the form of BFG A/T's! If you live in a dry southern climate and want a long lasting road tire for your truck/SUV you probably couldn't do better. If you drive a lot in wet and snow, I'd say look elseware!
