price can be high, wet traction

Great tire. Had a older set that were cracked on the side walls and still held up to hard off-roading. New ones are even better

Model Reviewed: Grand Cherokee

Strength:

Low Road Noise, good soft surface/snow traction, good looks.

Weakness:

High price! Cost $200 more than my old Cooper Discoverer STT's did! Weak in sticky gummy mud, don't have the longevity of the coopers (35k and 1/2 tread depth vs 35k @ 3/4 tread depth).

Fairly decent tire. Great for sandy soil/gravel conditions. Not so great in mud (lots of clay around here) because they load up quickly and act like drag slicks. Look good when they're clean or dirty. Get good traction in rain or snow. quiet on the road.

Goodyear Wrangler A/T (Good in snow and rain, not so much offroad)
General Tire Grabber A/T (Good all-around tire. Jack of all trades with no outstanding qualities but no glaring bad ones either)

Why so many tires? 273K and counting, baby! Can't beat those 4.0 inline sixes!

Strength:

Nice flat wide tire, nice and knoby

Weakness:

Little expensive.

Just bought some of these, awesome over my stock tires, makes my midget truck feel like a truck, I was tired of having my road tires sink and slide in the ice, and even fishtail easy on pavement. These things are flat footed, I haven't taken them over 40 miles an hour, but I'd like to hear a little tire hum. Mine are warrented over 60,000 miles, and if they last that long I'd be satisfied with tread life. Looks awesome, to bad my truck is only 2wd, oh well, just hope they are a little better at getting out, I hate getting stuck. I have them in 215/75/15

Strength:

Asphalt, Concrete. Traction is great except in snow except if you plan on spinnin five grand on the tach.

Weakness:

Anything other than asphalt/concrete. For non wheelers, dirt, mud, rocks, gravel, sand, clay, and other general crap.

Don't use these tires if you plan on going wheelin or in snow. The gum up too damn easy with crap. Only good for pavement.

Strength:

good traction and a nice ride

Weakness:

wear very fast. I have a deseil and these tires wear when they have a lot of weight on them. dont clean out well in snow after they are half wore.

I only have 15,000 miles on them and there are already half worn out. I am very impressed with the ride and the traction.

Strength:

Wears like iron, nice agressive treadpattern, great appearance with the new KO variety. You can stop in the rain with minimal sliding.

Weakness:

Can't really say that there is one. These are a great all around tire and has served me well thus far. A little pricey but well worth it.

These are a good jack of all trades tire. Probably the most agressive A/T on the market. Just a notch or two lower than the BFG Mud Terrain. Good for a daily driver or occasional off roader. Granted, it is not a mud tire but it was not designed to be. Great in all types of weather. Even a panic stop in the rain is not as bad as what would result with a true mud terrain. They do fill up with mud easily when subjected to sticky mud but with the proper line and traction do well. Just don't ask them to be a full bore mud tire. If you need that go with the BFG MT/KM another outstanding choice.
