I HAVE HAD CAR INSURANCE FOR OVER FORTY YEARS WITH SEVERAL DIFFERENT COMMPANIES. ALTHOUGH I HAVE HAD VERY FEW CLAIMS TO REPORT MY EXPERIENCE WITH TRAVELERS INS WAS VERY PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY ACTUALLY CAME TO MY PLACE OF WORK THE SAME DAY OF THE ACCIDENT TO APPRAISE THE DAMAGE TO MY VEHICLE. THE FIRST QUESTION I WAS ASKED WHEN I INITAILLY REPORTED THE CALIM WAS IF I WAS ALRIGHT. THEY SEEMED GENUINALLY CONCERNED. I WAS KEPT UP TO DATE ON THE PROGRESS OF MY CLAIM AND IN ABOUT TEN DAYS I WAS PAID FOR THE DAMAGE TO MY VEHICLE. I WOULD RECOMMEND TRAVELERS INS TO ANY ONE OUT THERE. GOOD PEOPLE.

The experience with your company was very good. But 1 month after the accident the DMV of California wrote me a 2 page letter, that my drivers license had been suspended because I had no liability insurance. When I called them, and told them I had $1million of liability with travelers, they would not accept "Travelers", as there were many he said. It turns out that I should have said "Standard Fire Insurance" That sollved the problem. Now you know why California is going broke. Alfred Schreuder
