I was in an accident that I was physically stopped and my car was hit by the other driver and progressive sided with the other driver because her car was pushed in on the side. Mean while my bumper was ripped in half and the whole front of my car had to be replaced and it was my fault!!! They wanted to put mechanical used parts in my car and take me to the cheapest place possible. Everything they say is a lie i would give them a rating of a big fat ZERO!! this was the worst mistake I have ever made switching to them for a cheaper price. You get what you pay for believe me stay away

Are fighting me on paying for damages to person caused by a drunk 3rd party.

I was rear ended by a drunk driver who had no insurance, they paid the medical bills and repair cost. What they are fighting me over is my uninsured claim for pain and suffering to me. Why do they call underinsured/unisured if they are going to pay for the same benefits I would be entitiled to if the other driver had insurance? I have hired a lawyer to debate this issue.

We used progressive for 3 years. Progressive has no problem taking our money and charging the rate. But when it comes to the claim, they give the price of the cheapest place on the earth and the adjuster has only one sentence "this is the maximum price we can pay. no more". They cannot even explain my policy. What a shame!

I was paying over $1300 a year for insurance on a professionally built kit car that I only drove a few miles every year and stored it in an alarmed attached-garage the rest of the time. I found another local company that offered better insurance and for 1/3 the cost. I tried to cancel online before the renewal date but I couldn't, so for 2 days of insurance they charged me $53.00. And they wanted to charge me another $50.00 cancelation fee! Needless to say, I would never again go back to this insurance company.

Will not Renew with a Perfect Driving Record. They claim I ". . .no longer reside in the state which your current policy was purchased."

Now for the facts. I have a Valid License, residence, pay taxes, and Voted in "the state" which I purchased my Policy. I am for 7 Months forwarding my address while in training for my Company as a New Engineer. What this does state is they are not checking validity of drivers Licenses. This leads to Progressive.com has incompetent rules and there is no way anyone should trust a company who drops people, claims they are not residents of a state, when they are and have proof they are residents. Incompetent, can never be trusted if one has an issue. Policy since 2004 to 2009 - can not and will not Renew.

If you do not have any claims and you like the price you are paying then, HEY go with it. Other then that I wouldn't recomend Progressive to someone I disliked.

The people are rude, they can never seem to answer any questions that I have ever asked them. They changed the price of my policy half way through the thing!

My vehicle was stolen and I called ASAP to Progressive to let them know, and it took over 4 days before I heard anything from an insurance agent. The insurance agent was over 200 miles away and never seemed to EVER answer her phone or call back. She was horribly rude to me and when I had to do the recorded statement she raised her voice at me and was horribly sarcastic. Not to mention that she took over 15 days to do the recorded statement but also to even send out the paper work. She was more involved in what the cops had to say and would not even give me the time of day. I will never insure with them again. . and I would not recomend it to ANYONE. Everything that they say on TV is a BOLD lie. They should spend less on commercials and actually TRAIN their employees. UGH!

No claims appeals process. What they say goes. PERIOD.

If you are in an accident, an adjuster will take your official "statement" upon your call made for help. This will be THE determining factor used when they decide fault - they do not requst police reports, road conditions reports, ask questions such as frequency of travel on the route, ask for witnesses at the incident - NOTHING. After the most horrific experience in my life, a rollover accident initiated by blackice and ending 75 yards down a steep hill off the side of the highway, my statement was taken within minutes of having pulled my two children from the car only to later be informed "I should have manuevered my car more responsibly to have protected my vehilce and my family from harm" and therefore am 100% at fault. ARE YOU SERIOUS? In my statement I stated my mph considerably less than speed limit due to observed weather concerns, no use of cruise control, extremely high gusts of crosswinds and I should have been a better driver according to Progressive and this wouldn't have happened. There will be NO PEACE OF MIND if you are insured by Progressive if you ever have to report a claim! I requested the written appeals process be sent to me...resopnse from Progressive...there isn't one! WHAT????????????????

I was quoted a 6 month policy at $429 but then recieved a notice that the actual price would be $635. I had already put down $72, so I cancelled the policy. Now they want me to pay an additional $94 for the month I was covered. They're trying to rip me off. They're not getting any more than they already stole.
