The worst insurance ever. If you want to get into a trouble, all you need to do is to sign up for National Coast insurance. They can cancell you policy at any time they want, without even letting you know about it. Be careful with them.

Appraiser met with me quickly, and seemed to be on the ball. I was hopeful.

You will never get your car back.

Consumers ask for a decent product that is trouble free. Give them that, and you can get away with a lot. Mine is another story of a car sitting in the shop for weeks, waiting for Coast National to send a check. My advice is to call these guys daily, and ask for a progress update. It will get to the point where they expect your daily call, like old buddies! You're lucky if you ever talk to a real person. I would call your body shop daily for progress, too. Forget it.

Consumers expect a decent product that doesn't give a lot of problems. Give us that, and you can get away with a lot. Coast National gave me the run-around. I never missed a payment, had a good driving record, and stayed with them for 2 years. I bought a new car and stayed with them. Then I tried to get a dent fixed, and my car sat in the shop for 3 weeks while I waited for the payment. Then, they raised my rate to $2900/year. Forget it.

This scale is way too generous by having a 1 as the lowest rating! I give them a kind -10. They totally suck. My claim is two months in progress with no settlement in sight. If in California and need assistance with companies like Coast National Ins. call 1-800-927-4357

Their prices are cheap

They are slow, they really don't care about who you are or if you caused the accident or not, they take forever to get back to you, and the list goes on and on.

They are fine until you get into an accident. I was in an accident in January, it is now June and my adjustor has never called me. Also, my car was in the shop for six weeks I paid $1300 for a rental, guess how many days of work was actually done on the car? Try six days. They are an awful insurance ocmpany and I would not recommend them to anyone even if my life depended on it. trust me it is not worth it to have such crappy auto insurnce. It is a stress that I wouldn't wish upon anyone not evn my worst enemy. Look elsewhere for insurance. Although their prices are cheap, you get what you pay for

Bad customer service. They don''t help out their paying customers.

I''m a paying custumer of Coast National Insurance and all I have to say is that they suck; they''re horrible. I was ran off the road by some idiot and hit the guard rail. I reported the accident and never heard from anyone at Coast National, so I had to call them again. When I finally got a hold of someone they said they weren''t going to help me at all. So now I have no car and back injuries. I hired a lawyer and hopefully we''ll be suing Coast National and the idiot''s insurance company. I suggest that everyone who''s having a problem with Coast National Insurance, sue for Bad Faith!Oh, and report them to the BBB.

Low monthly premiums

Bad customer service! I pay my premium every month, but they don''t seem to want to help me or talk to me when I need to talk to them. They don''t go the extra mile in helping us, the consumer.

Coast National Insurance offers affordable insurance coverage for the average consumer. However, when you are involved in an auto accident (whether it is your fault or the other party''s), they do not provide satisfactory customer service. Sometimes I will not get a call from my agent until 1-2 days later. I DO NOT recommend this to anyone at all!

Rolled my truck on dec 15th 2001.Its now 2002 march 13.Still no truck.And now there arent fixing things that happened in the wreck.I wish they wouldve just totalled it instead of this.I cant work and i dont have car rental.didnt think about it,wish i would have.I cant belive i was so dumb.

Nothing.

This is the worst insurance company in California. How do they stay in business? Their claims handling is awful. Basically they take premiums but do not want to service their policies or clients or pay fair claims.

Would not recommend this company to anyone. Unless you are unable to obtain car insurance from anyone else, I would not stay away from this company. I am surprised that the California Department of Insurance permits them to remain in business.
