name recognition
Weakness:
unreasonable to deal with I was in rush hour traffic when everything stopped and I was rear ended by someone insured by CSAA (California AAA). He has admitted fault and there is no doubt as to the facts. Triple A had me come down to the claims adjustment office THREE times. They were rude and difficult to deal with. My car was brand new (~5,000 miles) and has never been the same since. Similar Products Used: Farmer's |

Strength:
Silly perks like free maps and travel books.
Weakness:
Geez where do I start? When filing a claim, AAA is notorious for horrible customer service with their claims dept. Unfortunately, I have recently had two major accidents. The first incident they where completely negiligent when following up with the shady and unprofessional recommended body shop; whereas, the shop keep my "repairable" car in for 4 months!!!! In the meantime, everyone, even my mechanic recommended that AAA total my car out- but they refused. When I saw the bill from the repair shop- it was about $1000 MORE than the car was even worth. Idiots! If they hadn't had been so cheap and had been much more efficient in the first place, and just totalled my car out I would have been so much more satisfied. My second experience was a little less dramatic, however, the actual claim representatives are horribly rude and inpersonal- I felt like a such a 'number' instead of a person or a customer. Overall- AAA is well-known for not totaling out- totalled cars. They recommend shady body shops that half a** the job and you whind up with a world of problems down the road because of it. Customer service...in a word...sucks. DON'T BE FOOLED just because they have been around for a while and they have a 'good reputation' -shop elsewhere. If I could rate this a negative star I would. Strength:
Arguing.
Weakness:
I haven't got that much time. They get away with stalling settlements that are so obvious by arguing the case in mediation, status meetings and arbitration hearings lasting 3 years and counting...How many times do they need to be told they lost before they're forced to compensate?
