Strength:
power, sound, not too loud, bang for buck.
Weakness:
none, flawless I baught this flowmaster muffler 50 series from paw inc. for 90 bux and got it installed in a muffler shop with a tip all welded total for 35 bux. It has a nice deep sound, its not too loud but perfect. its noticable and it turns heads. the muffler sounds a lil like a borla cat back. it was worth the money. i noticed some low end power and i havent checked up on the milage per gallon but since i got it ive been gassing it more so ive been loosing gallons. but i want to hear how the 40 series wood sound on my car.. i wouldnt want n e thing quieter than a 50 series. Flowmaster all the way. Similar Products Used: dont buy cat back on wrangler, pipe is very short and it deosnt even make a difference. |

Strength:
The sound is great! Sounds good burbling around town, and when you nail the throttle, it roars.
Weakness:
NONE I just had a custom dual exhaust system put on my '90 Ford Bronco. I chose Flowmasters because of their quality and sound. I plan on swapping a EFI460 into my Bronco, but people want to see the "460" in it! Funny thing is....currently,it only has a stock EFI302,wearing 2 1/4" dual exhaust! Not even a set of headers on it's 302! Awesome big-blockness tone! And the power of the 302 is better, too. Similar Products Used: Why bother using any other mufflers?! |

Strength:
mellow sound while cruising, good bark when on it,decently priced
Weakness:
none We run a 1950 gmc with a 406sbc.The engine is running a six inch connecting rod with 11.6 to one compression and pro action heads with a roller cam with a 250 horse nos kit.We cruise and race this truck so we wanted something reasonably quiet that wasnt restrictive. We are very happy with the dual 3" flowmasters as it has a deep mellow sound while cruising and when we have it set on kill it has a wicked bark. Flowmaster 50
Strength:
Awesome sound, durability (it never ever rusted) and increase in Horse Power!
Weakness:
None that I ever became aware of. I opted for a Flowmaster 50 series mainly for it's sound. I had an 89 Iroc-Z with a stock muffler to begin with. I wanted a deep throaty sound though, and I just wasn't getting that sound with the stock muffler. To my surprise, when I made the upgrade, not only did I get the sound I was looking for, I also got an increase in HP. I got SO many compliments on the sound!!
