Great beefy sound outside truck and solid rumble on the inside and great HP increase
Weakness:
none I love this product when I first bought my truck the stock exhaust sounded good but not quite good enough so i had dual 50 series mufflers put on with 3.5" piping and 4.5" tips coming straight out the back. The sound is very deep and throaty i have had many compliments on the sound Similar Products Used: none |

HP gains!!!!!
Weakness:
slightly noiser interior, still completly drivable to church. I love it! It gives my truck an awesome exterior tone, while only mildly increasing interior noise. Big increase in HP. cost was $290 for a custom cat-back with a 3.5" polished stainless steel tip. |

Good tone, Easy install
Weakness:
Not loud enough, fairly expensive at $90 a pop. I had bought these for my car, but could not afford the full custom exhaust install yet, My Dads car had a muffler fall apart, so I sold them to a friend. They are the Delta Flow 2.5" even though the car has 2.25" pipes. I am glad I did. They are great for someone who wants a performance sound, but does not want it too loud. They are much too quiet for what I was looking for. They have a great tone, are of great quality. Inside the car under normal driving you will not be able to tell a difference between stock. When you get on it, it is not much louder than stock, but it has the "flowmaster tone". The vehicle has True duals, with cats, off of stock manifolds. Outside of the car it is louder than stock, but not hardly enough to get people to turn heads when you go by. I payed $90 a piece for the mufflers and $100 to have them installed (had to adapt 2.5" mufflers to fit onto 2.25" exhaust. This put the total at $280. This is a bit pricey, considering that on my old car I had custom bent 2.5" pipes, from the manifolds back with glasspacks, installed for $225. I will go with the 40 series when I can afford the install for my car. I intend to have headers, no cats, custom h-pipe, full 2.5" piping run, and custom chrome tips. In summary, these are the perfect muffler for my dad, but way too quiet for my tastes. Similar Products Used: Glasspacks, Stock exhaust |

smooth mellow rumble, POWER increases. gaind a 1 mpg. ( a BIG deal considering i only got around 7-8 mog at the time AWSOME SHREIK AT HIGH RPMS!!! can set off my friends car alarms.
Weakness:
lost low end torque. but gained in the mid range. (it was worth it) everyone says its really loud, and it is hard to have a conversation in the car with the windows down and the pipes singing. but hey, it adds man points. 1pmg gain is still only 8-9 mpg.i like it though I love this muffler. plain and simple. my car had a SINGLE exhaust with a stock muffler before. hmm, it sounded like a truck and had little passing power. it had awsome bottem end though. after the muffler, the whole swap was a 2.5 in exhaust with twin 50 series Flows, it kicks ass. it had a 2bbl at the time, but at least the dual pipes made it sound fast. HE HE HE Similar Products Used: just a stock single exhaust muffler, this kicks its ass by far |

Awesome sound. Damn better than stock. I purchased the entire exhause kit for 275 total price online (around 425 in stores locally).
Weakness:
Bit spendy, but hey all car stuff is. I was hoping for my hp gains, but i guess i always expect too much. buying online is cheap, anyone who buys at local stores is either crazy, doesn't own a computer, or has friends. On average I save near 1/2 of what retail for items are when shopping oniine. Similar Products Used: No idea, first time after market muffler buyer. |

Cheap cost for the performance. Company reputaion! Nice sound, not too much either (mostly). Increased POWER! WOW! I can really feel the difference! The shift pattern has changed, pick-up is now! at highway speed you feel like it hasn't upshifted yet, and if you step on it it goes.
Weakness:
Lost about 2mpg. When you only get 12-13 anyway its alot! Rumble inside can be too much around 2000rpm (if you have a headache already). It shows the need for an intake! lol, You can here it whine trying to suck in more air! A little bit of confusing the trans., around town it shifts b/c of the difference in pressure (rpm). It cost about $100 plus $40ea. for stainless tips, and $120 for the installation. So all in all it was about $300. not bad considering the average is $500! I would definitly recomend it, but pick up an intake at the same time! Similar Products Used: N/A Very particular about parts used. Stick with one and it's Flowmaster all the way! |

Flowmaster reputation, sound, and price. Gives my 4.0 liter V-6 a deeper, richer sound and increased horsepower. Still quiet inside the cab.
Weakness:
Wish offered a complete cat-back kit like Borla or Bassani. Installer ended up cutting the exhust pipe after the catalytic converter and welding the system on. Did not experience an increase in gas mileage. Actually lost about 2 mpg. Give a nice mellow rumble to my V-6 though will never be mistaken for a V-8. Would recommend as a cheaper alternative to other high end exhaust systems but with still a nice rich sound. Similar Products Used: Nicer sound than Magnum. |

I noticed a little difference in gas mileage. It also gave me the sound I wanted. A nice deep sound that can't be heard from 2 blocks away.
Weakness:
I've only had this for a week now but no weaknesses yet. I paid $150 for the muffler, exhaust tip, and installation. If you have a 4.0 liter wrangler, It's definitely worth the money. I could've saved some cash on installation but since the place I went to guaranteed the installation for life, I thought it was worth the money. |
