Strength:

It's a great value. Nice construction. Clean welds. very good fit. No modifications were necessary to install the unit. 4 additional ponies were gained on the dyno.

Weakness:

I think one of the welders at DC screwed up and welded on the CARB exemption backwards. Nothing serious, but it's a reflection of DC's quality control system. A better idea would be to provide a sticker for application somewhere in the engine bay.

No comment on price.. a friend owns a shop. It's a good value and everyone at my buddy's shop recommends this unit. There are some other headers in the market, but not many are CARB exempt (very important for us people in California). It's a definite plus.

Mugen header. I haven't installed it yet, as I am waiting for my exhaust to arrive. Mugen's unit is 3 to 4 times higher in price, but of course carries the Mugen badge, which needs no explanation to the educated. I'm curious as to dyno the car with the Mugen system (header, exhaust) and see what the power gain differences are.

Strength:

Looks great and was simple to install. I just bought the 1 piece version and it seems much more reliable than the old 2 piece. Couldn't reccomend more!

Weakness:

After installing with a Tanabe exhaust and Weapon R intake, low end power was sacrificed big time. But, once the RPM's hit 5,000 the car takes off.

I only paid about $299 for my headers. Go to www.nipponpower.com for some super prices on similar equipment.

Strength:

Very good addition to car. It provides an increase in HP above 3500 rpm's, looks great, easy install with the right tools, I did not notice any decrease in HP below 3500. No change in sound w/out catback change. After I ordered and recieved the header, I was told the dc catback was still under development for my car and received my money back for the exhaust. I was extremly disappointed.

Weakness:

No weakneses found yet

Supplies the power that honda forgot to give it for passing or for your need for quick pick up. I bought it b/c of its high reviews by other consumers and magazine articles.

Nice power gains.
Good design and quality.

Posible cracking / scraping..?

Great product for the money. I have no complaints and have not experienced the cracking that other refer to. Good power gains, especially when combined with AEM intake and Tanabe exhaust. Makes my little Honda get up and go. I had a shop install the headers. It took them little time and the charge was minimal. My car is not lowered, so I have never scraped my headers on the grizound.

Strength:

stronger, pretty than stock header, plus it's DC SPORTS, what else do i need to say??

Weakness:

engine is alot hotter than with stock header, trust me don't clean or do anything to the engine right after driving, wait at least half a hour, oh i got pretty good price so i can't complain there, i still don't see fading in the cermaic coating yet, other than the hotter heat no complains here.

makes your overall performance better, more richer exhaust sound, accelrate quick much more smoother, not a huge feel of difference (not a turbon now) with the combine of other exhaust products you will free more out ot this header,(p.s. don't get ss header, will discolor in first hour of use, ceramic holds its lasting look) this is a great product, i was almost fooled into getting a cheaper non brand header, but choose to go with the highest rated headers on the market, word of mouth to sport compact #1 rating.

others blow when compared to dc, don't trust ads, go by word of mouth, dc sports is best header for price, unless u got cash -mugen,spoon,toda, are pretty damn good too. really only used for import crazy owner , use mainly for racing purpose.

Strength:

Well I had my friend install them for me so that was easy to do. I didn't notice a huge power gain but I never really have with any of my modifications. They did make the exhaust a little throatier. And they do look quite impressive under the hood, and when my friends see it they say, "Dude you have headers, awesome!" So it's all good!

Weakness:

None, it's a little expensive I guess but that's alot of mandrel bent piping and process itself costs enough so I figure what the hay.

Well I had heard good things about this product so I figured I'd give it a shot. The whole reason for me even choosing DC Sports is because Mugen headers cost way too much and I wasn't even sure if they made a set for my engine. Regardless, DC Sports did have a good backing with the local import community.

Stock, the stock header sucks. It's old, it's rusty, it's ugly, and it's cast iron for goodness sakes. BOOOOOOOOOOO!

Strength:

- Construction quality
- Install ease(instructions)
- Included O2sensor harness extension
- Appearance
- Functionality- CC moves heat better than the stainless steel unit...
- Additional top end pull!
- No low end loss
- The stock maniflod was freakin HEAVY! Dang I gained some hp just from the weight loss! haha

Weakness:

- Only comes in 2 piece for my car so might have lost some hp there(maybe)

I was very impressed with the reviews of the product and knew it was an important part of a complete exhaust system. I purhcase it after an intake and other mods but before I had an exhaust. I didnt notice much of a difference until I installed my exhaust! Then WOW! NICE!
