This exhaust is simply amazing! Such a low sound and when you go WOT it just screams! Serious HP increase over stock exhaust and sounds great with a DC DAC intake. I was pulled over for speeding once and didnt get a ticket for it and it didnt have the silencer so for all you babies its not that loud! Its worht the money trust me, from the polished looks to the great low sound which is like no other exaust --way better then the Apexi N1--buy this exaust it wins races!

I give the Tanabe Racing Medallion a 5 out of 5 this was the best exhaust i have ever owned! Strenghts include

1) Aweasome low sound like no other exhaust you will hear
2) Great polished look along the entire muffler
3) looks great on lowered vehicles such as mine(just take it easy over speed bumps or you may loose it)
4) Great HP gains when met with a good intake :-)
5) yeah almost forgot gets the ladies, wins the races--nuff said--

Looks tight, RPM's dropped alot, Has a nice race car sound.

It is loud but thats what you should expect from an after market exhaust. I still haven't put the silencer on yet, I am thinking about it though.

If your looking for a tight exhaust this is the one to get. It adds more HP expecially if you have a cold air intake, if not get one! Can't go wrong....

Its style, SOUND, and boost

LOUD--when it goes through tunnels it rings in everyones ears, also it wakes people up at night.

It has an awesome deep sound and you can really feel the difference from stock (speacially with an intake). It also fits perfectly on Civics.

Some may not like that it's so loud but that's what the silencer is for. I haven't put the silencer in so I don't know how much quiter it would make the exhaust.

I've had this exhaust for about 5-6 months now and I have yet to find anything wrong with it. I was looking at a custum exhuast and piping but decided to go with the Tanabe.
If your looking for a deep and loud exhaust, this is perfect. But, if you want something quite, the silencer can be easily put on.
The first day I drove it out of the shop, I opened it up and it sounded so nice. I didn't want to get out of my car. I downshifted through an outside area with park cars lined up on either side of the rode and set of at least 4 or 5 car alarms. I would seriously look into this exhaust 'cause it has a great sound along with a great look. I paid $575 and so far one of the best things I've added

Paid around $550 for it, custom installed. Driving in any parking garage WILL set off all the alarms. And therefore attract cops and such. Such, being hot chicks! I would recommend to anyone wanting the best.. not some cheap no-name look alike. The price is steep but you get what you pay for!!

The exhaust can be loud, but it isn't too loud. Has a nice deep sound unlike some universal mufflers. Lots and lots more low-end power. Exhaust looks gorgeous and turns heads.

Can be loud, for example on the highway at 3500 rpms for an hour it can be annoying other than that virtually flawless exhaust.

Paid $460 for it, was worth every single penny. If you have a Honda Civic this is the way to go, every speed shop I went to recommended this exhaust. Tanabe is the way to go.

Great deep tone. Moderate low-end gain. Excellent high-end gain. Aggressive look.

Very loud. Attracts fix-it tickets. Not a very good street exhaust.

Paid $535 installed. I would recommend it for those serious racing fanatics. Only use off the streets.

Noisy unless used w/ silencer, Coating on the exhaust sucks..it comes off only after 4 months..The exhaust doesn't seal completely so it leaks from the sides due to the rivets..

excellent gain. hp is noticable in high rpms and mid rpms. It fit right on with no problems.

its loud but I bought it for performance and no no cops ever bother me with it.

I recommmend buying it if you want hp gains. the fit was perfect and it looks sweet on a lowered car!!
