Got it on a 98 Integra LS. I love HKS but this blew my mind. It sounds nice on the outside and quiet enough to have a regular conversation on the inside. Overall a GREAT product.

A little baccfire but hardly noticeable. No DRONE sound and not even close to sounding like a fart can like those cheap mufflers that (RICERS) have.

good overall tone. At low rpms it is really deep, by 4-5ks it starts to growl and sounds very smooth not raspy at all. Over 5.5 the intake kicks in louder which is good so the exhaust isn't too loud even withoutt he silencer. I only have it for a week now and i feel it may get louder in the future. Car definitely runs smoother.

Looks great coming out the back of the Z. Sounds great also. Can be a little loud at times. especially at highway speeds for extended amounts of time. no real HP gains. very easy install (less than 20 min to take off stock and replace with new). Very good price. at least $100 to $200 cheaper than most other sites. overall very happy with product, and very happy with www.9secondracing.com

i think it sounds a little ricey from about 3500 to 4000 rpm but only because the silencer started rattling a bit, i tightend it down but it didnt help

I am usiig this system with an aem v2, with the silencer out it is fairly loud but extremly smooth sounding. With the silencer in it is fairly quiet, the silencer seems to help alot, making it great for everyday driving, there has been a slight powre increase, most is felt in the vtec range and even more with the silencer out. great allaround exhaust one of the best i have ever heard. it you buy one i think you will be suprised how good it is, I was. If you want an exhaust that sticks out at an angle this is not for you . Over all tanabe did an amazzing job. I highly recommend this system

Mganflow- it was ok but this exhaust beats it hands down, it sounds better and makes more power, and i think this one looks better, the magna flow was too close to the bumper, had a tight fit.

Great sound (deep) Great look Helps power(definatly in vtec)

None for first year and a half. After bottoming out a couple times one of the rivits got knocked off. SO now the metel rattles a little when i first give it gas(not to noticable). Also everyonce in a while now it sounds just a little ricey around 4000-5000rpms. Ive had it for 2 years now so I guess its starting to wear out.

First off I have a lot of work including: intake,header,throttle body,cams,intake manifold,race cat,port&polish... Obviously with a lot of work on my car this exhaust has gotten to be pretty loud,but good loud. The race cat(straight through) bumped up the sound a lot. Even with the race cat it has remained very deep sounding though. Great exhaust! Mean in&out of vtec! It scares people away who want to race. (Dont street race,thats why cops hate imports. Too many people with imports do it) On my car stock this exhaust was not as loud as everyone says it is. It is very deep sounding. Out of vtec it has a nice low tone that is not too loud at all. When vtec hits this exhaust roars. It sounds so good! I've gotten many complements on it from people in imports & people in muscle cars. It looks very good too. not as angled as the n-1 or hi-power(hyper).

This exhaust is AWESOME!!! The sound is great, it has a very deep sound, and once it hits VTEC holy Crap it is sooo loud and deep. you could hear this exhaust from blocks away. Also i felt good power gains. If you want a loud exhaust that provides good hp gains get this, you Will like it.

This is an EXCELLANT exhaust! I LOVE IT! the sound is perfect. Very deep and very loud. I have felt a big HP gain also. At high RPM (with an AEM cold air intake, and a Helix Power Tower Throttle body sacer) it sounds so damn tight! Very noticable. come witha siliencer but it doesnt help at all, and who would use one? haha

I highly recommend this product for someone who is looking for a great exhaust for their prelude. It has a great sound and gave a noticable hp increase. My car pulls alot harder in the higher rpms and screams when i hit vtec. The silencer doesn't make much difference but does rob from the hp. Its a little bit louder than some cat back exhausts ive heard, which doesn't help when your trying to keep the attetion away from you when it comes to cops. I haven't had any cops haras me about the noice and ive had the exhaust for about 5 months. Just don't step on it infront of cops and you be safe of fix it tickets.
