Strength:
Well--not too loud (compared to the locally made one, this one is considerably more quiet, even without the silencer. In fact, you don't need to put the silencer). Gave more push to the car, especially at 3rd gear from 3000rpm up.
Weakness:
None that I can see so far. Oh wow, what can I say? I love it! It is definitely more quiet than my older, locally made muffler of the same girth (but not the same length). Technically, this review is for the Tanabe Tuner Racing Medallion, but since this product is not in the muffler section, might as well put it here. Anyway, great product! Not too loud, and it seems to have added more push to my car. Awesome! It really delivers. I am scared to push my car more because of the acceleration this baby added to it. deep sound not too loud
Weakness:
very low on my car veryyyyy nice deep sound. I have forced induction, greddy blow off valve and AEM cams and injen intake so with the whole package it sounds bad ass. It is alittle bit low tho cause i have scraped it once but my eclipse is really low. Its not too lud but i luv the tone. I'd recomend it to anybody. |

Strength:
good throttle response, same like most straight through muffler. power at high RPM. good dEEp ass tone.
Weakness:
louder than any other mofo.deeptone, but can make humming, cracking noise. i will probably add a big resonator to kill the noise, so i can run it wit/out siliencer. wow, finally got a exhaust. glasspack tanabe. running full straight 2.25 from the headers to the muffler. this muffler is fu*king loud wit no silencer. its so incredibly/insanely loud, u can hear it withen miles! louder than chevys! Strength:
--Awesome deep sound through the RPM range --Looks really good on the car --Stainless steel is always good --really good quality
Weakness:
--hangs a little too low (nice little scrape from on the bottom of the muffler from a speed bump I couldn't avoid) --exhaust rattles interior pieces alot I have a 99 Civic EX coupe...and I think this exhaust is the best thing ever. I have heard all the others and seen all the others and they cannot compete. It is really loud but REALLY deep. I like the way it looks on my car...and while my low end sucks now...my top end has improved. On to a DC header, and some pulley's now! Similar Products Used: stock blows. |

best sound i've heard (DEEP) has awesome slanted look good high end power gains very easy bolt-on install
Weakness:
a little low end power loss Only had the exhaust a month, without a doubt the best exhaust i've heard yet.If you don't want a bad ass sounding exhaust don't get this. Be sure to get the super racing medalion. This exhaust has a very very deep sound, and looks huge once you get it bolted up. Install is very easy takes 30 minutes. It's only the first thing i've ordered from Final Stage Auto, but i recomend them, they have great prices and had this cat-back from Cali to Texas in 3 days. |

best sound i've heard yet(DEEP) good high end gains slanted syle-looks great very easy install(30 minutes)
Weakness:
a little low end loss Well i've had the exhaust a little over a month and it has exceeded my expectations. The sound is unbelievable, very very deep, it sets itself apart from other exhaust. If you don't want a loud exhaust don't get it. Good high end power gains, easy installation, and the look is perfect on an eclipse, this thing looks huge once you get it on the car. This is the first thing i've ever ordered from Final Stage Auto, and they were great on price, and they had it here in 3 days, so give them a call. |

Strength:
-The uncomprehendable deepness that just keeps coming. -The luscious powerband that just pulls you like a jet. -Smoother operation of vehicle - much less shakiness upon deceleration (where this thing just purrs) -The look - that shiny angled canister screams Japanese Racing. -I got it for $425 shipped!!! Then the muffler shop (U.S.1 Muffler) did an excellent job and only charged me $30! So definitely a great value!
Weakness:
-Lost a bunch of low-end (but that fat deep sound more than makes up for it) -That it took 6 days to come to me. Let me just say this - if your contemplating buying this exhaust, and have a Civic - DO IT and DO IT NOW! You haven't a clue just how great this exhaust really is. Below 2k your deeper than a Mustang GT, from 2-3.5k your just as deep with a hint of intake noise. From 3.5-redline hang on b/c this b*tch is going to pull you into oblivion. It just demands respect from that FAT-DEEP-Pulsating Deepness that just doesn't quit to the slanted angle of the canister to the high-end HP gains - it is far and above the BEST - The Tanabe Super Racing Medalion. I absolutely love the sound upon start up and turn off - esoteric to say the least - even the old-time hot-rodders seem to recognize it. This is a great way to make your car stand out - and sound out its true intentions. Oh, and never use the silencer - you won't need it nor will you want to squelch that unsuppressed deepness. Similar Products Used: Stock - which actually was mandrel bent and had smooth curves - just a baffle muffler and POS resonator - no looking back! |
