97 Tahoe 4dr
Strength:
The instructions made it easy to install. The tips don't stick too far out from under the rear bumper and there are no ugly universal clamps! Everything is designed to fit like a glove.
Weakness:
Because my Tahoe comes with a tailgate and the exhaust exits from the rear it can get a little noisy at low speeds. Nothing a good stereo can't fix. Right away I noticed a big increase in low and high-end power. Not to mention the growl that comes from the dual pipes. Similar Products Used: Gibson dual exhuast. |

Strength:
WOT Throttle Sound,
Weakness:
Some resonance when I added headers, it sounded really good with the exhaust. When put on a stock corvette it sounded good, quiet but it had a nice burble to from the stock mufflers, no resonance. A good choice in my opinion. When I added it headers, it did get a bit loud and there is some resonance 1000-2000 rpm. It sounds awesome under WOT. It has mean sounding idle, but it does get loud in every day driving, because of the resonance. I am currently exploring idea to get rid of the resonance (corssover pipes and an additional borla resonantor). Similar Products Used: None |
