Loud Exhaust Note Great "angled" style canister high-flow 2.5" piping awesome gains
Weakness:
Not great for lowered cars Fits very tightly from cat to bumber This is a Grade A+++ after-cat exhaust system. The exhaust note is almost silent at idle, but growls deep and loud after 4grand. The only problem with it is how the resonator hangs a little lower than other catbacks, but i can't complain. Similar Products Used: OEM stock Si exhaust |

Tight looking muffler, large piping, and nice exhaust tones. Opened up the top end 5000 rpm up.... definitely feel the difference. Gained some power.
Weakness:
NONE Absolutely awesome. Love this thing. It came off a wrecked integ in pristine conditions. The shiny muffler with the super clean welds caught my attention as well as the apexi logo underneath the muffler. It had some scrape marks on the underside of the piping. Got the whole cat-back system for a bill. Took it to a muffler shop and had it put on for $65. The exhaust note is deep, low, and not too loud unless you step on it.This is one of my favorite exhaust system I've had. Like the Sound, large diameter piping, and a hugh shinny muffler. (Dig the welds) A good deal for a well made exhaust system. The muffler does not hang low on my car! and it's at least 3" drop. Totally satisfied. NO STICKERS, come on Apexi we all like stickers the n1 is a well worth the money exhaust, i dont know what everyones problem is saying it is to loud, i have mine bolted up to a comptech 4-2-1 header the same night and it isnt loud like everyone says it is, if you dont drive arond your town like an idiot at 6000 rpms then shift, seriously idle is very quiet, driving it has a deep tone, not screaming loud bumble bee, when you get around 4-5k it gets really racey sounding, its not hard at all to install, the hardet part is getting the old bolts off, and believe it or not i had a tough time getting the silencer out i think its from the masking tape they put around the edge before they tuffed it in, youll see... i notice a decent amount of pickup throughout, esspecially at higher rpm's, oh and i didnt get 1 damn sticker, i dont put them on my car, but god my friend ordered parts for his 68 camaro from jeggs and got tons of stickers and a hat !!! at least they give you new gaskets and hardware, unlike comptechs header who says they expect you to use the old one ( it really does say typically the old header gasket is ok, if not order a new one from comptech ) dont cause you will pay alot for a measly gasket, i got one from a local auto shop for 18/metal to :p oh well... anyways i would recommend this exhaust to anyone who wants a very nice exhaust, its well worth the money, the piping was bigger then i acpected, very nice... dont worry about the sound its not horrible like everyone says... just get it Similar Products Used: Stock |

Weakness:
-Loud -Po Po getter - My review on this product is an A+. I have been complimented many times. I wouldnt get any other exhuast, and this is why i have an Apex N1. I can feel the strength that it gives my 3 and 4th gear. It looks really sick. A big Fat canister with a big mouth. It can be loud, well on my car it is i dont use the silencer. When I first start my car it's higher pitched.. but it gets lower after i've hit 3rd gear. This is a great exhaust. If you want an exhaust with a low and deep tone, and also want to be heard; get this one. It sounds great and has looks to match. While most exhaust say they give a lot of hp/torque gains, this actually does. It has been ranked my numerous magazines for highest torque and around a 12hp gain. Also, a lot of people complain about the angle.. I have a coupe, and the angle on the coupe isn't big at all. I also had to modify it just a little, but I have NO clearance problems. The price is definitely worth it for this very very nice system. Similar Products Used: Greddy EVO II - It sounded good too, but it was too quiet and got too high pitched at higher RPMs. |

Good mid. to high end power specialy when VTEC kicks in. I dont even mind the sound cause im so use to it already. Very durable construction, it still looks wicked when viewed from the back at night.
Weakness:
Nada mang. Let me make this short. "No Regrets on purchasing the Apex N1 cat. Truly performs on the street where it counts" Similar Products Used: I've owned Universal Prouducts in the past and they don't even come close. |

Good with VTEC, very loud and muscle sound to it. Deep and throaty at low end, and twice as loud at high end
Weakness:
None, except i need a high flow cat rather than a test pipe, which makes a raspy sound at high rpm's when i let off the throttle I purchased an Apex N1 catback exhaust a few months ago, and the results are impecable. Starting the car up and idle is good enough, but once VTEC kicks in, it's crazy. It has good low end gains, and very good mid-high end gains, once vtec kicks in Similar Products Used: stock exhaust |

Tons of low-end torque turns into high rpm power. Nice sounding, even at idle.
Weakness:
Hahaha, thats a joke, right? Holy cow. Thats all I need to say. But Ill elaborate a little. I got the cat-back, it fit perfectly into all the hangers and even bolted onto the rear unibody structure. I thought that was cool. I put it on, drove it for the first time with two of my friends in the car and noticed a huge difference in performance. It was way torquier and pulled hard in the upper gears even with all the people in the car. It is loud, but you dont get the cheesie sound of just a bolted on muffler. Nice deep rumble at ow rpm, screaming in the upper rpms, especially in the power band. |

Huge tip and angled position makes very aggessive look. Power gain is noticable (in highway). Silencer looks nice because it's hard to see it(black color).
Weakness:
hmm...well.. you could say it's loud without the silencer... but.. just little louder than 5zigen(say go-zi-gen) fireball or DCsports Catbacks... N1 is the best looking exhaust for 5thG Prelude. Before I got this exhaust, I did a lot of research to find quiet exhaust. but.. All I found was all quiet exhuast looks kinda stupid on my car. So.. I decided to get N1 (for looks mainly) with the silencer(*sigh*). With the silencer on, my car has more deep tone and its loudness is in between stock and without silencer. I only had a headache for one day. If I didnt get married, I would definetly take out the silencer. *crying*.. Installation was easy.. I noticed N1 is much lighter than stock. Since diameter of N1 is much larger, its flange was hitting the heat shield. so.. I pushed the shield up a little and noise was gone.
