I got 4 soundstream mules in a sealed box and they rock, they are in a 98 honda civic. I got about 1400 watts going to them from 2 soundstream 702's. They pound, if your gonna get a sub, get these...

I got a really good deal. I paid 500 for all 4. These arent the tightest subs I have had, those would be JL. but they are tight enough for me and they are loud beyond belief. If you want the loudest, definitely get these, just make sure you buy a good amp to push them. No sub will sound good with a bad amp.

Did have 3 jl audio 8w6's in a sealed box, which ran off one of the soundstream 702's. They are definitely good subs, but I needed something louder. I want everybody in a 200 foot radius to be lookin at me when i pull up.

These subs rock. They hit hard with anything pushing them. I was pushing these subs with a 99 watt autotek amp and they were loud. Loosened my front windshield twice, makes my rear quarter pannels rattle, and makes the mirrors jump out of place. Have them in my 73 mustang right now and I never turn it up anywhere close to all the way because they are so damn loud. Just bought a 10.0 to push these guys and it will thump. I recommend these subs to anyone. the best 12" sub out there

their are no weaknesses unless it's your car not able to handle the nasty DBs these subs produce

Lets just say boys and girls SPL170 are the SH.. i will neva buy anythin else otha than the jl w7s which will be in my hand this month but i jus wanna say these bad boys hit so loud and hard it stops my heart from moving and blows windows out....4 SPL 170s 1 tarantula ...now my amp has power an it moves right along SOUNDSTREAM is the nastiest car audio i have ever heard an will always recomend them even to my customers

Very effient, can slaw off a 100 watts. Cheap and loud!!

Can't hit lower than 30 Hz...not as low bass as Fosgate DVC's

I have two 12'inch SPL's in a ported 1.3 cubic feet per sub in my Civic coupe. I am running if off a SOundstream 1002 and let's just say I am hitting a 150.9 dB with just a pair of these speakers. I would never think these speakers would hit so hard, especially I would have never thought they could handle my 1002. Want loud go with these!!!

I hit 161.3db with an 1600w earthquake running themThese are the loudiest the most brain rattling subs I have ever ownd, but am affraid the cost of windows are not going to be worth the dbs.
These are the best for someone who want pressure dbs and lots of attention

Great sound qulity for a 15" subwoofer is quite hard to get, but i will promis you that Soundstream have really succeeded!
Plus it really "Kick ass"!!
It fits in any box you would like to have.
From a seald box at 28 liters, to a tuned box at 140 liters!
Not to bad for a 15"!!!!!

It´s just one thing that I don´t like about them.
If you gona have a tuned box, you´ll must have guite long ports!

Okay, Stroker may sound verry loud, but not like SPL 170, and the sound quality, well it suck!!!!
The other just don´sound as high as want to.
SPL 170 have an X-max at 5,4 cm while the Stoker have 4 cm.
Stroker cant sound as loud as SPL 170!!!
Solobaric just have 2,2 cm!!!!!!

LOUD AND CLEAR - I got 5th place in the last USAC competition (SPL) with a terrible amp and (2) SPL 12's

I have them in a 1 cu. ft. sealed box right now and they don't hit quite as low as I want for SQ, but I think a 1.25 or 1.5 cu. ft. box will correct this and put me right around 40hz
