Strength:

Low Bass
Durable
Dont sound sloppy at all
rubber trim that covers screws
so much more

Weakness:

none yet

I bought two rfd2212 and the rockford 750s amp the subs arent getting as much power as they could take at 375 RMS going to each that handle 500 RMS each but even under powered they pound so hard I cant keep CD's in my visor anymore it shakes them out in seconds they make my head hurt in minutes but I love it it's that good kind of hurt. I had three CompVR's 12" with an amp that gave them more than enough power those were from 07 and these rockfords are from 03 and have a tighter sound all around they hit way better and hit the low bass beats in songs that Ive never heard out of the kickers Im so glad I found this deal and crossed over to rockford awesome subs especially for the money if you can find some buy them I garuntee they wont let you down

Loud, lasts long, drops low, built strong, great for an spl sub

Weakness:

nothing yet

Got 2 bazooka ELA500.1 running 500 rms to each, in a vented box, must be vented! Crazy loud, much louder than the bazookas i was running and the Alpine type R i was running, even better than the 2 audiobahn's[3000watt peak,1500rms] getting 700 rms each my friend runs. Definitly worth buying, won't be dissapointed, drops very low, and hits hard, best subs to get before getting into competition subs.

Loud bass. Your neighbors will definitly get pissed off.

Weakness:

Does not take that much power to power them as it says.

I bought these subs in the summer hooked them up in a ported box with a JBL 600.1 amp in my 95 Grand Prix GTP and it pounds. When i turn it up most of the way it starts to hurt my ears. Wright now im only running 300 to each.

Cheap prices if you search well. Lots of bass.Little money.Buy one now.Oh yeah, Profile California amps are very good at unbelievable prices. The 1200sx only cost me 230$ I ve even seen some go for as low as 180$.

Weakness:

None

You can not beat the bass for the buck for this sub. This sub hits so hard I don't even need two of em'. I got it hooked up to a califrnia 1200sx amp. It's bridged and the amp kicks out 900 watts rms to this sub.It is a beast.

LOud, pretty good SQ for a rockford, built like a tank, excellent frequancy response, drops very low

Weakness:

POwer hog, almost as much of a power hog as my eclipse Aluminums.

Rockford Hx2s are some of the most reliable subs on the market. They can take so much abuse. I blew an Infinity Kappa (perfect) believe me its far from it. This sub dominates it and costs less. These can be found on ebay for about 110 now that is simply unbeatable, if you have a good amp, if you dont it will let you know. It needs its RMS power, but will easily take more. It gets scary loud if done right. Louder than the W3s I had but a little less than My eclipse aluminums. Best bang for the buck

Strength:

Hit very hard and pack a lot of punch. They are awesome-looking, well-constructed drivers, very mean and heavy-duty. I love the fat rubber surrounds, the huge dust cap, the gasket and the deadly cast-aluminum frame. DVC also gives some different wiring options. High power handling, so they're a perfect match for my Rockford Power bd1000.1, when wired correctly. Probably the best 12s you can find brand new for under $300.

Weakness:

maybe my box isn't tuned low enough, but the really, really low bass comes out sounding a little sloppy, so sound quality can be a bit of an issue. Nothing really, aside from that.

When I first picked up these subs (two 12s for $580 Can.) I made the mistake of putting them into a small sealed enclosure (2 cubes for both subs). I must say I was quite disappointed. They sounded okay, and played the really low stuff accurately, but they had no punch whatsoever and simply weren't loud at all. Recently, I finally purchased a proper, custom vented box and for the first time, I can really hear my subs. They sound louder than anything else I've had. All I can say is that if you get these subs GET A VENTED BOX FOR THEM.

Strength:

Great SPL/SQ sub. The bass hit Hard And Low. Very clean and never distorts, will not bottom out unless you give it more then what it is rated at. After the 2 hour break in it sounded very very low and will trigger off car alarms. I am amazed how well these sub handle my Audiobahn 1300HCX. I am currently pushing 1200 watts RMS into 2 HX2 12" in a sealed box and they hit harder then anything i ever heard. They are also very very cheap for the price i paid. Nothing will compare for 137 a piece including shipping. Super Durable and Huge Huge magnet 120oz. double stacked with DVC of 4 ohms. Wired at 1 ohms so if you get a High current Amp these will pound~!!!!

Weakness:

Will damage your car from all the vibration of the low bass notes. I alreayd put dynamat in my trunk but think I will have to double layer it and dynamat the interior of my car as well. Take alot of power.. Clean Power = expensive Amp. Audiobahn HCX1300 will do the trick or JBL 1200 class D. These sub are also very heavy.

These Hit Real Low and Hard. These subs make you want to throw up. The SPL is crazy and the SQ is great!~!. My friend got sick from all his internal organs vibrating from the bass. This thing makes your whole body tingle and you feel bass going thru your body and shaking everything inside.

Similar Products Used:

Kicker VR 12" and JL w3 12" but Rockford HX2 12" SQ is better and SPL will blow anything away.
