It makes my trunk rattle :( But is that really a weakness :P

I think that this a great product... esp for the price I got it at. Anyway, I just bought some kenwood dualmag 6 1/2's for my car and I cant wait for the results on that. Im happy with my sistem

Hits clean, Doesn't distort, Handle's power, real good clean tight sound in not only rap and booty music, but in classical as well. Compared to Infinity cappa, JBL GT, Pioneer Premeir, Alpine type S, Polk Audio DX at round the same price($150) MTX 6000 takes the cake.

Needs good amount of power like a D class amp. I would reccomend an MTX thunder250D.

Great value for the money. Are thier subs better? Absolutly. But if you compare apples to apples, MTX 6000 is probably the best sub for $140 to $150 retail. Make sure you get a good MDF box and not some Chessy A$$ partical board. If you want good sounding quality subs that won't break the bank. MTX6000 is the way to go.

I have two MTX 6158, MTX 6000 15s at 8ohms, in a sealed enclosure. These things will cause pain to anyone in the car. I have a MTX 152 bridged on them and its making them beat like crazy.

None noticeable yet. They've been taking a beating and haven't lost any performance and have met every expectation I've had.

The exact setup I have is 3 MTX 6000 10's in an MTX sealed box with a Rockford 800a2 amp powering it. It pounds like you wouldn't believe. I can't even crank them to their loudest because it drains my battery.
They blow away both of the Rockford series. They're louder, and although the Rockfords are pretty loud they suck at sound clarity, and this is where MTX excels. They're awesome. I recommend these to anyone who doesn't want to spend the amazing amounts of money for Kicker solobarics or something in that range, because they are close enough to that quality for half the price. I recommend them to anyone who wants pure loudness, or also to people just looking for some low bass in their music.

Very High gain will distort speaker. 500 watt speaker sounds like crap at 450, but one of the best subs I have ever heard at 200 watts rms

Very, very good investment as a 16 year old kid. $130 for one 12" mtx road thunder. Has lasted all five years and still a great speaker, you want long lasting speakers, assuming you take care of them, MTX are great.

Everything about these subs are screaming rugged and low down bass. I got rid of my 2 12" Rockfords (punch)for 2 12" 6000's. Wow, biggest difference I have ever heard.

Nothing, except for the fact I don't have more of them.

These are some of the nicest subs I have owned, all I can say is if you want low down bass, and high power handling, these are the real deal. One problem: I need a new amp to power these babies.
(i can only imagine how nice the 8000's are!)

It hits very hard and never skips a beat and is very clear. I feel that the sound that comes through is very incredable it sounds so good on a digital amp. I work at aoudio vibe and these woofers are in high demand they are a little more money in Canada that in the U.S.A but I feel that that makes no diff.

I have two ten inch subs one a thunder 3000 the othe thunder 6000.
the other guy at school has two 10w6 jl audio I kicked his ass and boy was he mad. I feel this shows the quality of mtx and there fine work.
