Strength:

I've been running two terminators with a Legacy 600w amp for about 3 years, and just now blew em. That's only because I got new ground zeros and tried to blow them. They are pretty good subs for low and midrange. Sound great in small trucks.

Weakness:

can't handle that much power without distorting.

These are pretty cheap speakers and hit fairly hard with the right power. I don't really favor MTX, but it gets you by when your cruisin' the strip on Friday night.

yo man, i got 6 12's eh man, and like they like pound. I got like a pyramid amp 240 watts powering em all, so i say i got 10w rms of CLEAN pyramid power gooiin to each 12, my box is made outta drywall for now, cuz it pounds yo.

Weakness:

nuttin man, just that they costed so much money, like $30 a speker is tons,

these subs rock hard man, i got em in a 1983 station wagon, and is like cool. whenever i bring a boyfried up to the peak, and we listen to music, we like to go into the back and give each other oral pleasures while listenin to the MTX! ya mtx foreveR! Buy these subs, ive shot my load over em so many times cuz of the bass, i creamed a hole thru the surround!

Strength:

I have owned these speakers for at least the last 3 years and they still sound/work great. They can't take much power but they put out plenty of mid which sounds great in my car. They where also on sale for $27 each... how can you go wrong?????????

Weakness:

Little too big, for mids i think i'd prefer 6" speakers as opposed to these 8" because of where you can and can't put them.

Just an all around awesome mid range speaker!!!

The mtx terminators were my first speakers. They were horrible. I pushed them with an mtx thunder 2160 amp. The amp ruled and slill does. The speakers distorted easily and just weren't loud. I tried 3 different sized of them. 10,12,and 15" versions. The 12" sounded the best but still don't compare to phoenix gold's x-max. I now have 4 of them in my car.

I have had these subs installed in my Mustang for two years now and they still rock the back of my head when I turn them a quarter of the way up.I have them hooked to a Kenwood 200 watt amp. Adjustable output. They work great when set to the right frequency there is no distortion or added vibration when mounted properly. I would definately buy another pair if these would blow.Warning: You might want to use lock tite on trunk lift support screws. I lost 2 of mine cause they vibrated out.
