Strength:
They take alot, they have very good quality of sound if you throw in one of their tweeters.
Weakness:
they don't handle high wattage, thats the only weakness. the speakers sure know how to kick, they thump better than anyone elses speakers around here. Similar Products Used: I use them with a 600 Watt Amp continuously and push them to 800 Watts overall. |

Strength:
phenominal value for the money, works well in a quite a variety of enclosures
Weakness:
MTX doesn''t make them anymore and they''re getting hard to find. These subs are quite good for the price, they can hit infra-sonic bass quite easily. I had both a 25 Cm and 30 Cm versions of these subs, and they sound spectacular when placed in the right enclosure. These compare with any of the top dogs in terms of possible Spl. Dont let the 120 watts RMS fool you, the extremely impressive 92Db/1 watt/ 1 meter specs make up for it. that means it is a very effeciant sub, so this will pound twice as hard with the same amount of power input as any sub with a 89db/watt/meter spl, such as a alpine type s or type r. I am putting about 40 watts RMS into the sub in my s-10 extended cab, and you can hear me comming from 1 block away, (litrally, this is no joke) So at a measly 120 warrs Rms, just think about what it can do! Sound really god. I'm only runnin 50 watts a piece on my 8"s but they sound good in a small truck like mine I'm pretty imperessed beside they were only $25 for two loaded boxes who can complain.
Weakness:
Distort easier than most subs but I actually do like them. Well if you don't want to spend a whole lot and you need something just for enjoyment there great subs. Similar Products Used: JBL,Kenwood,JL,Orion |

Strength:
They bounce. They shake the hell outta my trunk.
Weakness:
Need to handle more power I recommend this sub to new comers into the car audio world. I have my 12" terminators hooked up to a pyramid 1200 watt amp. I figure I am putting about 300 Watts into each sub. I am not sure about the peak on these and would like to know. If you are looking for pure competition subs this might not be the place. But if you are looking for thudding bass for personal enjoyment, its right here. Similar Products Used: None |
