Too much to right down.. ill just say everything "literally"

well, if you like racing consider the fact that the 12in w7 weighs about 50 lbs each, they are heavy but I got know problem with that i dont give a shiiiit about racing and engines its all about the SYSTEM baby

I know this page is for the w6 but there is none for the w7 yet, let me start by saying that a w7 is FARRRRR superior to the w6 and any other sub on the market. Sure there are subs that are "louder" like the competition RFL mtx sub for example which in 4 can hit 170+ db but is also equivalant to having someone bang a slege hammer in your trunk for the bass. The W7 sound quality is simply unmatched by any other sub, I have heard them all from ample to polk momo to the overrated kicker L7, and nothing is even CLOSE to as good, they are all inferior to it. The w7 dosnt only have awsome sound quality it sounds good at extremely low lvls of volume and high levels of volume, I know for a fact that they can take a hell of alot more power than the recommended 750 watt rms by JL. These subs pound so freakin hard that people notice me coming for over a mile away and the cars around me shake from the massive vibrations. lol i just dont have enough words to complement these subs. They are pricy but worth every damn penny. Oh yea i feed them a 1600 watt kennwood exceleron mono amp.<---this is a good amp, it takes a long time to cut out when its using its max power and when it does it recovers quickly.

these things can hadle way more than 300 watts rms,they hit real hard,sound way to clean,and hits bass only few subs can hit

in my eyes i dont see any but if you do let me know cause these things are praticaly perfect

i bought three 12 w6s and these babies pound hard as hell ive been in numerous audio shows and ive came in first 4 timesive hit 147dbs with three of these but my amp helps a lot alpine 1507 bridges into 4 ohms puttin out 1500watts these subs r the one i recomend heard the w6v2 the the same just look different and cost alot more.

the 12w6v2-d4 are the best subs i have ever heard (and i install at a major retailer). they have nearly the same excursion as the 12w7 and, to contradict the idiot who said the typr e's and s's are good, the new and old 12w6 are way better than anything alpine has ever made! they are heavy and i would recomend a VERY GOOD custom box or one of jl's boxes.

These JL Audio 12 w6''s are the loudest subwoofers i have ever heard. They are soo much louder than infinity perfects. They revolutionized the subwoofer industry and continue to be the loudest subs. INFINITY SUCKS!

there heavy,the box in my trunk weighs 82 pounds.

I have 2 12w6 subs in a sealed box powered by a soundstream reference 500 amp @1.5 ohms. Ok these 2 12''s have been puttin out serious bass since 1995. these to 12v''s plus one more blew out the front window of my friends mitsubishi eclipse. I think JL audio is making a new version of the w6 subs called w6v2. If your thinking about buying, I would wait for the new w6v2''s. Unless you can get them used for a good deal.

if u open the back door and listen to them they dont sound that great so if you where gonna face them toward you as in a wall or etc.i would not recomend them.

ok these subs hit pretty damn hard in my tahoe.definately a very good sub.people would tell me they could hear me about 1/2 mile down the road coming home .i have it with a punch 800,but now im selling these subs for 300$ and the amp is sold for 300$ now im going to ebay and buying 3 alpine type rs and a 2001 model rf amp because i had the 2000 model.and i think im only spending 50$ for the upgarde not bad .easy to sell to ppl who dont know about ebay.
