Strength:

Low Price, great sound - if used correctly.

Weakness:

If not enclosed - it doesn't perform well. The best configuration I have found is in a Q-Logic Vented Bandpass.

I got these at a REALLY good price, buy one, get one free - So I paid $50 each. I haven't noticed anything going wrong with them, and their power handling is great in a bandpass. I haven't tried them in any other enclosure, but they don't work too well without one. Compared to other subs, these can't handle as much power, but you get what you pay for.

Strength:

cheap

Weakness:

no bass, blow easy, can't handle power, distort easely. This is an entry level sub with no power handling capacity, no sound quality, and no bass(the primary reason for a sub) the look good but are a waste of money. you are better off spending a little more now than buying these and spending alot later to replace them. I blew a pair of 12's with a 200w x 2 (max) amp

150 a pair and it was a wasted $150!!!!!

Strength:

Inexpensive. I paid 50$ a piece. For that price, can't beat the sound. They don't need that much watts to run then. Only 100rms will do. They are not rated to run much more. 200 watt max. This means they will blow at 200 watts. If used properly, they will be just fine. Never had a problem with mine with a hundred watts RMS. Bandpass Box encouraged.

Weakness:

They don't handle over 110 watts very well. Not really good outside of bandpass box.

Nice sub for entry level. Not recommended if you want to heard from down the street. But if you want a little enhancement to a system, for the price 50$/piece, can't beat it. It's not like this is their top of the line sub. You get what you pay for. For an entry level, 50$/piece sub, this is right up there with any other entry level sub.

Strength:

Nice bass for the price and can handle copious amounts of bass in the 40-90hz frequency range. They are build very well and CAN handle LOTS of power without popping. I have a tested MTX amp pushing a RMS of 384 watts with 18db of bass boost. I was sending a clean 10 volts of signal through the RCA's and this sub managed to stay together in the 1.3 cubic foot sealed box. With this exact setup, I blew 2 MTX 3000 12's with the same amount of power and volume. Trust me, these subs can handle the power.

Weakness:

Will begin to fall off in volume and quality below 40hz. Not good for listening to 'bass head' music and test tracks, but they are great for individuals who are trying to fill in with extra bass. The loud and clears will put out enough to make your ears ring a bit, but of course nothing like a high dollar sub.

A great sub for the price. Very good for an enry level subwoofer or just something to fill in the lower frequencies with. Won't blur your vision, but still, a great sounding subwoofer.
