SQ is near perfect.

I'm running these subs on a Mcintosh mc431m with a Mcintosh mx406 head and a dynaudio system 220 front stage. I have IDQ 12's and these subs are some of the best I've ever heard. The SQ is nearly perfect. I've used many different brands and the only brand I know that sounds as good is Hsu, but unfortunately Hsu is only available in SVC 4 ohm. These IDQ's will beat any of the popular brands any day as far as SQ goes. JL, Kicker, Eclipse? Please gag me with a spoon. As far as SPL goes, these subs are more than loud enough for a high powered balanced system. If you're trying to create an unbalanced system where your bass is sloppy, distorted, and drowns out your front stage, then you probably would be better off with something else. These people that gave these subs bad reviews are either deaf or don't know anything about audio and how to put together a quality system. And what is this complaining about how they look? Who the heck are they trying to impress? If you want pretty, go look at a painting in a museum. Speakers are for sound.

Hits hard, tight bass,nice sq does'nt carry

The only thing I have found that is a weakness is , If you send them alot
of power the dust cover will seperate from the cone. But as long as there
under warranty id will send you a new sub.

I have 3 IDQ-DVC 10's and they are awesome they are probably the best subs I have ever owned. I am pushing 700 watts per sub, very small enclosure. The only problem I have had is they thump so hard they blow the dust covers off but those are fixable. Best subs ever made in my opinion.
