Power handling capabilities, excusrion (almost 3" looks quite mean), looks, and they produce enough clean, clear bass to make your bosy hurt for days.

Each 12" weighs 34lbs, but I am assuming that if you are looking into speakers of this output level that your more into the competition scene, so weight doesn't matter. Other than that, this sub has no weaknesses except that everyone will want ur system, making you at a higher risk to get ur sh!t jacked.

All I have to say is WOW. I have two eclipse 88120.4's hooked up to an mtx 81000d with 0 gauge wire and an audiobahn digital chrome 1 farad capacitor, and my system freakin POUNDSSS. Most poeple can't stand to be in my car (1997 integra gs-r) when I have it up loud cuz it makes ur chest hurt, and ur vision blur. It makes my hatch flex about two inches, and when I go ported in a few days it's gonna be wanting to fly off! These are very clean, accurate drivers, and even with the 1500rms I am running to them, they don't distort at all. Right now I have them each in separate 1.25 cu ft. sealed boxes. Buy these subs and you will be happy, you will also be heard. I can set off any and every car alarm, and have had my neighbors threaten to call the cops because they say when I drive by their house they can feel the bass in their chest and it makes their little kids think their is an earthquake. lol just soend a little cash on these subs and buy a nice amp, you'll never regret it!

Pretty good sub. Loud, and hits low notes pretty accurately. Plus, they look real nice. It's always impressive to have pretty looking subs when you pop your trunk.

Doesn't make my heart skip beats like other subs do. Doesn't hit very hard. To be completely truthful, the best subs i've ever owned and heard were the Boston Acoustics Proseries 12.5lf. They're a few bucks cheaper, but man, those are the most beautiful sounding subwoofers to an audiophile's ears. They make bass notes ring out musically, as well as make my gelled hair move considerably. They handle TONS of power (although be careful, the reason i don't own Boston anymore is 'cause i blew out their voice coils...). Anyways, if you're just looking for a way to impress your friends with a good-lookin system, and you listen to a lot of hip hop, then eclipse is good. But if you like hard-hitting and 100% accurate musical bass, then go research the Boston Acoustics subs.

First of all, I'd like to recommend the guy I bought the subs from. He's an honest seller on eBay and he gives you a warrantee on all the stuff you buy from him. As for the subs, I've heard better. These subs are quite impressive, however. I have two of them running off a RF bd1000a1. They could definitely use more power. It takes a few weeks for the subs to be properly broken in so you can hear every note.

I've seen 1 of these 12's go 150.1 db in competition. Too expensive for the BestBuy Boom Boys to afford. 1 farad cap required for more than 1 in a system.

My box weights 120lbs (3/4" MDF) the amps (for the subs only) weigh 30 lbs. I'll not win any races. My car bottoms out. You need money and a real knowlege (or a good installer) to get the perfection that you can out of these.

I have 2.75 cu ft(internal) box holding 2 of these in serperate chambers. Each now has it's own kenwood 401 amp (@ 2ohm, 600w) Nice and clean.. still tweeking though. previously, I had 1 401 for the both (@4ohm, 300w) and it would boom out pretty easily. The power upgrade fixed it and then some. I have no boom unless it's in the music.

I am going deaf soon if I don''t keep the bass down - but it''s soooo clean and loud it hurts! Instruction book not very detailed. Could provide a lot more detail regarding connections, impedance information and checkout. Although once connected and working - end of story - sounds great! Rear view mirror will not stay adjusted - have to glue it in place.

I am very impressed with the precision engineering of the Eclipse titanium subwoofers. 100 percent quality and solid design - no marketing hype, fancy packaging or meaningless buzzwords used to mislead the consumer on the www.eclipse-web.com site! Give it a few days to break in, and then you will have the most solid and loud bass you have ever experienced! I have a dual 12" sealed box and replaced one of my blown Audiobahn Alum12 with the Eclipse titanium 12. It fits in the same oversize hole as the Audiobahn. Driving the subs with a Precision Power 21400 Amp(700W RMS per channel @ 2 ohms) with the voice coils in both subs wired in parallel. A 15 Farad PowerAmper Cap and 1/0 AWG Cu welding cable feed the amp in the trunk of my 2000 Impala. While installing the Sub I discovered that one of the voice coil''s polarity was mislabeled. But when I swapped the wires on one of the voice coils the bass came pouring out. But maybe that''s why I only paid 370 - it was new in box, factory packaged and unopened from ''mik3y00'' on Ebay. Ok. There is so much that I can say about this sub. It is absolutley ridiclious to listen to. I have 1 12" Aluminum being driven by an Xtant X1001. Still to this day it is the best 12" sub I have ever heard. I wired the (2) 3.1 ohm coils down to a 1.5 ohms load, so the sub is being fed 1560 watts @ 1.5 ohms.

I just got two 12" Titanium Eclipse Subwoofers with two Eclipse Mono Block Amps that push 1100 watts to each sub. I also have an Eclipse deck to run it all. I have got a rebuild altinator and a new Stinger battery. Let me tell you these things are LOUD!!! The sound day I had these I set off 2 car alerms with in 2 hours. Wow. This is the best sub out there next to the titaniums. You can give them as much power as you want and they will take it willingly. I have an MTX 8100D amp pushing it bridged down to 2 ohm. This puts out over 1000 watts of power. I really need to Dynamam my trunk because it makes everything vibrate. Even with the MTX amp, the sub still sounds awesome. Make sure that you make the box exactly 1 cubic/ft internally, otherwise it will sound like crap. Overall this is a ridiculous sub. This single sub is louder than my friends'' 2 HX2. He has them bridged to 1 ohm, powered by and Orion amp.
