LOUDDD!!!! hits everything well

takes alot of space thats about it

I have 2 cerwin vega strokers in a 2004 F-150 ext. cab and its crazy maxin out at 4000 max peak and 2000 rms. its worth the money i bought them off of ebay for a good price for what they are worth i dont have a very good amp on it i have a ssl 4000 i dont know how much it is pushin i just know its loud. If i had it in a different car it would be much louder because of the dimensions of the vehicle. I have spent about 3 to 4 grand on everything in my truck with the wires, alternator, battery, deck, subs, capacitor, 4 door speakers, an amp to power them, the box, the original amp to power the subs, and the box. but over all i am very pleased.

Very Powerful! Will update you when I pump more power into this thing. Deep Bass! Looks good, I like the way the pin comes up to allow more stabability!

Requires a lot of space. Box Needs to be to specs.

I'm very impressed with this subwoofer. I've tried two different amps to push this thing so far and even when I'm only running 300 to 500 watts rms it's really strong and deep. 1st amp I tried was a 400w Power Acoustic which sounded good even though I really don't like using the amp, it's primarly used to push my 10" Eclipse. The 2nd was a 1000W RMS Soundstream 10.2, it was pushing 500W RMS @ 2ohms into the stroker and it was Very Strong and clean! I'm looking to get an Orion 2500D or a Rockford 1501bd to supply my Cerwin with the power I want. The box bult for it is of course vented and and the volume is about 6.57 cubic ft. This subwoofer needs to be in a box to specs to sound good, very specific. You get SPL And SQ if you have the right amount of air space. I highly recommend this subwoofer as long as you have a lof of room to work with, large trunk or a truck and have the extra money to get a strong amp along with additional accessories, such as a cap, high end battery and may need to get a better altenator if you want a reliable and long lasting system.

Ok first of all the stroker wasnt made to win sq it was made to win spl so all of you cyring about sq get a different sub i Hit 160 with one 18 with a zr 1000 that is rated at 1400 watts bridged in the back of my 98 eclipse its loud as hell.

Umm lets see... -1600RMS -VERY efficient -strong -LOUD -Hurts my car (i dont care, thats a plus!)

Needs a huge box, and is ugly... other then that its the best sub ever :-)

Ok first of all it is the loudest single sub i've ever heard. I still havent broken mine it at all yet, and i metered it today at 149db's. Granted thats in a 8.0ft^3 box with a 105in^2 port tuned to 40hz. Its bein powered by a JBL BP1200.1 amp, and i have a second one i'm gonna connect and run about 2500 watt burps to it for compitition. As big as it is, and as big of a box its in, it still performs quite well. I'm sure once i put it in a box thats tuned to about 32hz, its going to be alot more accurate. I love this sub so far, and would highly recomend it to anyone who wants to impress there buddy's, be the loudest in town, or anyone who just loves jaw-droping lows.

loudest strongest speakers I ever owned you get huge bass response at 30hrtz low vol. I put a cd on my seat it hops at least 4" but no spl 50hrtz or higher big spl one of my friends cry his eyeys were full of water with in 10 sec.

do not play low notes at high vol. feels good but the speakers dont like it

took me a while to set up but Ihave toyota 95 pickup extra cab walktru drop huge box 2 18 strokers d4 with one amp 1800 watt hit on iasca idbl 2002 155.5 db I got second just by .3db against 4 15 d4 now this year 2003 I got 4 3000 watt and two d2 18 idont now whats gonna hit keep you posted

Installed in a 7.66666 cubicfeet box with two 6" ports at the end in the trunk of a 95 monte carlo. running with a 1250D planet audio beethoven amp. Two batteries. one under hood.. one in trunk....stock 100A alt.....very loud tends to overpower tweets.and mids... but very impressive

Power Handling - these things will handle almost anything you throw at them. Power Hungry - i suggest upgrading your battery and alternator before investing in one of these.

Reviewing the Dual Coil 18" Stroker... Amazing SPL capabilities and surprisingly good SQ capabilities (depends on size of enclosure and amount of power you feed ;) ) Definetly an old school sub, but nothing on the face of the planet can touch a Stroker! Scary, in your face Bass, stomach churning, earthquake maker, ultimate wake up the dead sub! Can you tell that I love this sub? Might start sleeping with it, grin factor x 1 million.

I put 2 stroker 18 in my car runing 2000 watts to them each. peak power 4200 watts. I hit 167.2 db best sub I have ever sold. In my opinion, this is best best spl subwoofer on the market. Yes, their design needs a facelift. I have one 18dvc and a concept 1200D.
