extremely loud bass and have a rebuild kit so for the money paid you dont have to be afraid to pound them if they blow just re-build

when i turn the power up or turn the volume to loud they will cut out not sure what thats about if anyone knows fill me in

I am verry impressed with theses subs i have two 12" strokers powered by a 3,000 watt dual mono block ppi amp this is some of the loudest bass i have ever owned and possibly heard for the matter verry happy

Needs alot of room.. Needs alot of watts.. Heavy price for the subs.. The whole rear of my SUV needs dynamat.. But well worth the shove.

Took me about 6 months to complete my setup, I have 2 POWER ACOUSTIK OV1-4000D 4000w MONO CAR AUDIO AMPLIFIER, one running to each sub and a dual ported box that really isnt big enough for the subs, (a little over 4 cubic foot) and i am out beatin everyone i went up against.. the game on my amps is only at 25% to.. wen i crank it up to about 85 or 90% it will be slammin.. One of the best subs that you can possibly buy.

Man, I just bought this subs about a week ago. I hooked it up yesterday with a PPI D2000/1 amp, and this thing slams. I look at the reviews about the old style, and how they fart and what not. But, this sub hits extremely hard. Deep earth shattering bass. My rear wiper on my car fell off! It needs alot more power then what I am giving it, but this is by far the best sub I have ever purchased.

I just bought this sub off ebay for a steal at $162.50 and maby now is the wrong time to be reading the reviews but for less than 200 dollars, brand new, its got to be worth it. I hear some people sayin its not worth the $1000 per sub and maby its not but I got a hellofa deal. I have not exactaly hooked it up yet but when I do, I shall not be dissipointed if they in any way compair to the other cerwin vega products ive heard.

All i gotta say is stand back when "STROKERS" are around (not for the faint of heart)WARNING!!!!. These subs are nuttin to play with i have 12's in a single factory spec boxes with dual ports and pushing it i have a 1200w Alpine v12 amp 2 channel. As long as u have the right specs for the boxes and there ported u should neva sencond guess having this sub unless its making ya ears bleed ,ive got nuttin but compliments since i got them and i didnt even think twice about buyinh them off my boy cause not only b4 i bought them did i know how they pounded but he has about 5-7 awards in spl comps with these subs. So if u thinking of getting them trust there hottttt

Dual Spiders. Pound Hard. Very strong and durable. Very deep, clean bass, when used with the right box.

The only possible weakness is the space use, but if you have the right box, nothing will pound harder

These are no doubt the best subwoofer money can buy. I currently have 4 of these and all I can say is "WOW"! People say these sound like sh!t, and that they "fart?" that's only because you need the right box. When I first started I had a 15 min homemade box and they beat, but they sounded like sh!t. Now that I have a ported box specifically for them, they pound so hard it hurts your chest. Drop a line at supap!mp@comcast.net. (Replace ! with i)

The MTX RFL152 comp sub is much better I just got one of these hit twice as hard as the stoker and has 2000 watts RMS and its peak is 4,000 watts the stroker can touch those numbers and I only payed 4

i have one 12" stroker and it has been the best woofer i ever had sounds great, and whenever you drop the knob, you better whatch out cuz it leaves your ears hurting. absolutly the best woofer i had ever had, im now getting a stroker 18" and i'll see how that is.

Clearest bass output under 50 htz i have ever heard. Hits hard even at maximum power of 1200W Stylish Very musical when bass output is concerned. Minimal ear fatigue due to laminated paper cone. Verrry rugged and powerful!!!

IT SAYS IT ALL!!! Cerwin Vega STROKER... This sub is the best sub i have ever heard.No other sub hits as hard or as low as this one.I currently have 1 yes 1 15 inch double voice coil stroker and i have to say it sounds and behaves like no other sub out there. Acoustic compression was around 140 DbL as the sub was driven by 2 Kicker 600W mono sub amps both driving 600W to each voice coil at 4 ohms which is peaking the rated input power. I was reading some of the reviews posted about this speaker and i have to say i am truly dissapointed. No other speaker can sound or perform like this one so i don't know how these people expect other subs to out perform this one. someone said their stroker fell apart??that is near impossible!!have you ever tried to tear a spider??It's almost hellproof and if a spider is being used by cerwin vega on it's award winning stroker it must be as good as ever. In closing all i have to say iz Biggup to Cerwin Vega..they have the best sounding,hardest hitting subwoofer i have ever heard and i have alot of SPL experience to compare with because car audio is a passionate hobby of mine and i have gone through lots of subwoofers but i think i found my match. The only other sub I think could compare with the stroker is the MMATS Juggernaut 15 inch which manages almost the same level of SPL but is way off when it comes to sound quality.Cerwin Vega's Stroker IS the BEST!!!
