Clarity, very responsive

I love these subs. i have them in an a 1987 hooptie and the whole car rattles. Even my hood rattles. I have these Audiobahns in a bandpass box, and the subs are still very responsive. I often times set off car alarms when I drive through parking lots. My car is''t even a hatchback.

duribility isnt the greatest

These subs by far out preform and othe sub i have evr listened to and ive heared a lot! Not only are they the cleanest subs ive ever heared but they go lower then most 15" or 18" subs can go in the right sized vented enclouser! I had one alum12x in a 3.5cuft box and that with a rockford fosgate bd1000.1 and it was going down to 19hz and it was clean! i was getting to 140db with one sub! recently i bought another alum12x and im so anxious to see how two of these subs from the gods act in my van! they are also pretty cheap subs if you go to the right web site. but one dissapointing thing about these subs are how badly the spider is connected to the cone! its know to rip the spider and also come loose from the cone, causing it to dent the cone pretty badly! but im set on audiobahns and will never use anything else!

I may have to replace the fin on the back of my car, and all the parts that come loose from all the vibrations lol.

These are easily the best speakers I have ever heard. You get awsome sound quality with INSANE spl. These speakers will take the entire 1000w rms you can throw at them, and ask for more! I have them powered by an audiobahn 2200hc which is throwing about 790 watts to each speaker, and they are in a custom bandpass box. I swear my trunk is just going to bust open from all the bass.

Can only handle like 800RMS in a big sealed box or in a ported box.

Ive got 3 12''''s each in a small sealed enclosure. Everythings in a Chevy Astro. Everythings wired down to 1 ohm. Im powering them with an Audiobahn A1300HC Amplifier. I never got them metered, but when I drive through a parking lot, all kinds of car alarms go off!

Well, I got my box built, it took me and a friend about 10 hours....dont ask. We now have an epic 150 hooked up and it has said 148db with my 3 twelves. I really do like the subs for the money we paid, but Im into spl so these are now for sale. Im going to digital designs to get one of the 9000 series 15" sub. I got more spl with 1 15" then all 3 audiobahn. Im not saying there bad, there just not good enuf.

good looks, hits pretty hard, sounds great, very hard to blow but i managed.

i wish it would have shaked me a little more but that isn''t much of a weakness

I had this sub for about 3 months and it hits very loud. the bass is very clear and it gives you a little bit a vibration also. I have never had a real problem with it untill i bought my new amp. If you are going to buy these subs good for you but don''t blow them you will regret it. i hooked it up to my audiobahn 2200Hc ampliphier and with in a week she was fried. Now it is just a very good looking paper wieght. They are nice subs though encourage everyone to go out and get them. I am now waiting on 2 1200eu or something like that, i hope they hit hard and don''t blow.

Built great, sound great, look great, and handle a lot of power

don''t hit all the bass as hard as i would like

This sub is really really nice. I would not want any other sub besides it. The only thing i need now is a little bigger amp so i can power it better. With the audiobahn amp i have it still powers well and hits hard but i am looking for more so more power is needed. these subs hit really hard and low and make your head go numb. The only bad thing is they don''t hit higher bass like they do the low bass. But i am not complaining these are still friggin awesome.

These subs look great and sound great. I had a MTX Blue Thunder and the ALUM12 hits a lot harder with the same amp. The bass is very clear and tight. My friend has 2 MTX Blue Thunder 8000 subs and he can''t even compete with 1 ALUM12 they just hit a lot harder
