Strength:
Crystal clear highs, and supurb mids. These speakers suprised me because they throw out alot of bass. You deffinitely have to have an amp, because these sound better and better when you give them more power, i could deffinitely tell a great difference between throwing 30 watts, and 100 watts at the infinitys. Also, get new aftermarket wires you will be much happier with monster cable than you will with factory wires.
Weakness:
i really like these speakers i would recommend these speakers at any cost, thats how good they are Similar Products Used: they blow away the so called premium system in my thunderbird |

Strength:
Great accuracy. Run excellent through and amp and x-over. Clarity of sound.
Weakness:
I have had no problems in the 4 yrs. I have been using my Kappa's. I would definatly recomend these speakers to any one. I have had them in two different cars and they sounded great in both. I am running them off an amp, and I believe only the best performance is obtained by doing this; they need ample power to run properly. I also have them running through a x-over, and the ability to adjust the sound they receive also makes for an exceptional bonus. Great Speakers..... Similar Products Used: None |

Strength:
Nice, crisp highs and tight mid-range. If you can get a good price on em, go for it.
Weakness:
Not one i can think of. I spent many hours in researching these speakers before I bought em. I wanted to match both from front and rears so I took my time in researching. I did everything from on-line company research to in-store comparisions. In the end the combination of good research and an even better price brought me to the Kappa Series by Infinity. There is no store display or sound room in the world that can duplicate the interior of a car so I was extremely nervous to say the least when my install was complete. Upon powering these babies up I was pleasently surprised. I actually I fell in love with these speakers. The highs are really really crisp, almost to the point of being a little too loud. An in stereo EQ or an add on EQ is almost nessary. It is going to be interesting to see how these speakers sound after their initial break in period. If you can get a good price on em, I highly recomend these speakers. Strength:
Overall great sound, cool looking green
Weakness:
Slightly biting highs, need an amp These are, overall, very nice sounding speakers that handle a lot of power. However, they absolutely MUST be powered by an external amp. The only flaw I notices was slightly biting, harsh highs at high volumes. I would recommend them overall, especially since they're quite common and can be picked up cheap on e-bay. Good for a middle-of-the-road system. Similar Products Used: None |

6.5" kappa perfect
Strength:
incredible mid bass, outstanding highs, loud as hell, handle 400W.
Weakness:
can be very harsh if not balanced with a subwoofer. kinda pricey. These are the best speakers I have ever heard. My best friend who happens to work at a stereo shop(even better friend) has a pair of the rockford FNQs and I was just about to lay down my hard earned cash to buy a pair when the saviors of the stereo world come out with the greatest speaker ever. my 6.5" Kappa perfects blow his rockfords out of the water. They have a tremendous hit in the mid bass almost comparable to an eight inch sub! The highs are something you have to hear to believe. By the way for all you mb quart fans, my buddy sells those too and they tremble at the mere sight of a pair of kappa Perfects, plus the perfects are about $100 cheeper. I am powering them with a rockford power 400a4 and I can crank it until my ears blead with no distortion what so ever. I must warn you that they put out alot of high end and without a sub to balance it out it can be a bit overwhelming. The price on these bad boys is a little up there, but well worth it. Retail is $550 but if you shop around you could get a pair for around $350. Similar Products Used: jbl power, Rockford fanaticQ, |

Good speakers for the price. A little too much on the midbass (car resonance probably). Treble is detailed and the mid is accurate. |

I currently have the Infinity Kappa 62.1i and the 63.1i in my car currently and they are some o.k speakers. These speakers deliver some nice bass and decent hi freq. Sadly I have clipped these speakers too many times and they have failed to please me all the way completely. I would not recommend these speakers to anyone unless they are not too serious about their music equip. |

The sound is pretty good considering i only paid eighy dollars for them. I would never pay more than a hundred-fifty dollars for these speakers though. The treble is extremely clean, but I find it to be too sharp and biting at times. The midrange response is pretty good, but these speakers pale in comparison to my Rockford Fanatics. |
