Strength:
Good clear sound, reception verry good , i like the welcome when i turn it on and the good bye when i turn it off.
Weakness:
Really hate the fact that it doesn't play skippy CD's , the remote is quite large, why? wish they would have made it possible to change the illumination to match the interior lights. Good head unit verry sharp, good FM reception, love the Z-enhancer allows good sound control, found some features hard to figure out, out of 5 I'd give it a 3.5 Similar Products Used: KEENWOOD ? |

Strength:
Super clean and detailed signal to my amp and speakers. Cool blue-white letters on display. Loudness, preset EQs, zero bit mute, quality wiring on back, Removable face security. hard to lose remote
Weakness:
doesn't look as cool as ElKameleon(it is more secure however) not a ton of speaker power but not bad. annoying to flip down face before changing CDs can't read slippy CDs cost $210 on ebay with s/h. Super-solid unit. can't be beat at price when hooked up to amps. I would buy another one if it read scratched CDs better. Similar Products Used: had Rockford-fosgate 8115. Clarion has better output signal, appearance, and remote. doesn't read scratched CDs as well especially compared to my old rockford fosgate until it got fried. |

Strength:
Well laid-out. Good CD sound quality.
Weakness:
Expected better from 4V outputs. Average tuning ability from the so-called Magi-Tune. Display is too bright at night. Face doesn't flip down easily. Well, I like the deck, but I don't love it. Quality is fine, but somehow I expected better from Clarion. Similar Products Used: Pioneer DEH-46DH |

Strength:
Very good recpetion, clear amp signal, all the good features of a high priced reciever...cd naming, radio station naming, mini disc naming. Very cool to pop in a cd a see 9 Days flash on the reciever. Nice looks!!!
Weakness:
Stinks if cd is not brand new! Very skippy!!! Frustrating!!! Clarion also has BAD BAD Customer Service. Have to fight with them to get them to repair my product. First is cd has minor scratches it will skip non-stop almost. Second Clarion has issues with customer service, refuse to admit it's a deffective unit, then takes months to repair it. I wouldnt recommend this VERY VERY good product because the companies attitude towards customers!!!! Similar Products Used: JVC, Pioneer, Alpine, Eclipse |

Strength:
thing sounds great, nice functions, matches with my blue. pretty easy to use. very good sound quality.
Weakness:
freaking thing totally gives up after a while. starting skipping. doesnt like to read cd-r's. strached the hell outr of my cd's. doesnt play anymore. started smoking when i was driving. If you like all of that, then this cd player is perfect for you. if i were to rate it out of a 10, i would give it a 10 at first, after a year probably or a couple of months of constant listening, i would give it a 3. thing gives up on u after playing cd-rs, and it starts to kill my CD's. Only reason why i got it was because of all the cool looking blue lights. If you want good quality, its there for like a month or 2, but afterwords, the words "goods" and "quality" will not be in the same sentence with clarion. Similar Products Used: i think my stock cd player is better. :) |

Strength:
Four RCA outputs, front and rear. Easy to see. Sounds great, and clear.
Weakness:
Like others have said, it doesnt play scratched cd's very well. Although I havent noticed the "dents" in the top of the cd's like some others were saying. If you dont have the book, it can be tricky to figure out how to use and work everything. But overall for the price I paid, Iam very pleased. Similar Products Used: n/a |
