The best from MD units,easy installation in acura ,honda,any import car. Face is little too bright at night but since I have tinted windows its not a problem . Works the best with CD Sound Field Processor CDA 5755 + Alpine AI-net changer can be hooked up simultaneously.Unit was getting overheated when playing on high volume ,can be fixed by adding amp.I wish it could play MD LP2,4 format :o)

uHad been debating between CD PLayrt that plays MP3's and an MP3 player. Then along came the SOny Net MD player recorder. I was sold. Temporarily used it through my cassette deck until I found a store in the city that had MD Decks (only one in Winipeg) Totally satisfied. Love the unit. MD is the way to go for portable and car audio, no skips and media is cheap and small enough to carry

I just love alpine car audio. My mda 7755 is awesome! The sound is great and the display is very colorful and easy to read. I love the eq displays and basic tweaking you can do to enhance the sound. If you love mini disc buy this head unit! I paid $450 for my mda 7755 and the harness and remote were missing which tweeter paid for and sent them to me fresh from the alpine parts dealer.

Colorful, don't have to keep changing discs.

Scratchy sound, and very limited EQ.

The 7755 is great if you don't like to bring a big book of c.d.'s along with you every where you go, but the sound on the 7755 was scratchy and the equalizer was VERY limited on sound adjustments.

Clean sound and greatly improved graphics. You can read this unit in direct sunlight. Skip protection is great. Every Alpine unit I've used provides excellent skip protection. AI feature is great if you have an Alpine changer.

It's rare, but I do drive with my radio turned off. This unit doesn't display the time when turned off. (Minor inconvenience) This is my second Alpine unit with the same remote. The remote could have more features, e.g. tone and fade controls.

I bought this unit at e-bay. Paid about $495 with shipping. I've owned 5 Alpine products, ranging from the bargain head unit to the high end, and been satisfied with every one. I compared this with a Sony unit, can't remember the model number, and I believe the Alpine is a superior product. Much cleaner sound and a better display.

There are several DSP modes and display variations, but I haven't used them. Gimmicks. I bought this unit for the sound and reliability I've come to expect from Alpine. If you are looking for a MD or CD player that won't skip, I suggest you look at the 7755. If I didn't find the unit on-line, I would have spent the $650+ retail, without hesitation.

$650 in Moscow, Russia. Good choice for those who got used to MDs and prefer digital sound to classics.

Sony's much worse than Blau. Blau is good, but I prefer digitized sound. All units were used with the same speakers.

This is by far the best car minidisc player on the market. I have not had any problems mentioned in the other reviews about the internal amp not working. The sound quality of this unit is superb, far better than the Kenwood KMD-X92 which I had installed in my car before the Alpine.

This price is a little high, but when you consider what you are getting, it more than justifies the price. Also, I would have liked to see 3 preouts with one having a sub level control. However, this can easily be overcome.

I paid about $500 at www.bargain-expo.com. Fully recommed this web site to anyone. They have everything that you want at the lowest prices around.
