Bought Amp At A Very Good Deal At Best Buy With My Employee Discount, To Hook Up To A 2ohm Boston Competitor 12" Subwoofer. Bridged Amp To Drive Woofer. Distortion Right From The Get Go. High Powered But Unclean Bass. This Was All With The Line Level Controls At Half Way Turned Up. Then Turned Level Control Up To Over 3/4's The Way. Let Me Tell You The Amp Just Died Out And Wouldn't Hit. The Subwoofer Out Lasted The Amp LOL. I Would Recommend This Amp To Anyone Who Doesn't Mind Loud Muffled, Distorted Bass. If U Do Mind, Then Go Buy Yourself A High Efficient Amp Like A PPI, Or A Pheonix Gold. Also I Bought A 360AII Amp And Don't Like It Either. If Interested In It Email Me. I have to punch 500s in the back of my truck along with 5 punch 15s and i love rockford fosgate amps they are the best i would reccomend them to anyone.

I have the 250.1 and i got to say i hate it. It overheated 6 times after leaving the shop. I installed it and it was getting so hot at 10 ohms. It should hardly break a sweat at those high impedance loads. I have one JL 12W3 Dual voice coil 4 ohm and i ran it in series ( an 8 ohm load, but measurements showed it to be 10 ). Then Because the people at the shop, who always 'think' they know sooo much, said it was fine. so I told him fine, run it at 2 ohms. I knew it would overheat, so i did and it overheated about 6 times on a 20 - 30 min. drive. I hate this amp. and won't buy rockford again.

The 500.2 is a great subwoofer amp. If you have 3 Dual voice coil speakers this amp will put out loads of power bridged mono. Hooked up to 3 Power DVC 15's in a Toyota 4Runner did 149.5dB.

Nice Product but highly overrated. If anyone wants better cleaner and more powerful amp, go for PPI PC2350, you will be pleasantly surprised.
I had my 500.2's for 3 days before I switched to the PPI. NO MATCH. The PPI blew the subs that the RF could not move, Sorry.

Just got this amp from Car Stereo World for $366 bucks. Killer amp!!! Running mine bridged to a 12" Punch Power. Bass is tight and the amp cools extremely well. Extremely rugged construction. Great for you bassheads out there. Pushed my system HARD!!! Never clipped.

Punch 800a2 is the most impressive amp ive ever had the privaledge on owning. Ive noticed that when my amp is steaming hot it runs the best, and no, my amp has never shut down during operation....ever. Ive bridge this amp down to around 1ohm handling anywhere from 1000 to 1600 watts(hello!). Im a professional installer. Make sure when you buy a fosgate amp have it professionally installed, and it will last you till your equilibrium shatters.

Dont doubt the best! This is the best stuff out there. It doesnt get any better than Team RF, I've used RF equipment for years and It has treated me well, from their wires up to their incredible amps and I have no regrets. If you want the best than you have to be willing to pay for it. If you go cheap then you'll get crap. Simply put.

All you cheap fools who cant dish out the dough.

I've used the RFX-8340 headunit, Bd1000a1, 600a4, HPC-1206 speakers, FNQ-2514 speakers as well. All perfect!
