Very powerful, sub bottoming out amp power! This thing hits soooooo hard it's unbelievable.

This amp is quite powerful even on one channel it has enough power to rock any speaker and when bridged this thing tear up anything! Barely gets warm while bumping for 3 hours long. I recommend this amp to anyone looking for killer brutal power!

good output to my 2 12" rf hx2's, cleeeeean power...

amp shorted... for no reason at all... it was running fine three days ago, i started my car today and lost $300 worth of system

bought it off ebay for cheap... hooked it up originally to a friend's car and it pounded my audiobahn 12alum... clean power....... when i hooked it up in my car a few months later... it sounded great for a week or two, but the amp shorted today... i don't know why it shorted, i haven't listened to my hiphop yet, haven't played anything with a lot of bass, haven't done anything that would make an amp screw up... i don't get it... but the amp still shorted, so.... great sound, sh*t for durability

This amp ROCKS! I used it for about a year powering two VEGA 124 SVC subs...I wish I had gone w/ the VEGA DVC''s, because I couldn''t get a 4 Ohm load out of the 4 ohm SVC''s. The amp runs stable at 4 ohm w/out getting too hot. I ran it at 2 ohm for quite some time on the VEGA''s and it pounded like hell. It was the loudest, cleanest-sounding system in town, but I eventually blew both of the VEGA''s because I was overpowering them. Never had any trouble with the amp other than the massive current it draws off my electrical system. I recently purchased a 1 farad power cap, but it still dims the lights a little (also, I upgraded to a 96Amp alternator). I also recently switched to two 15" PUNCH HX2 dual 4 ohm subs. It hits HARD and I now have the correct impeidence on the amp. Very good choice. BTW - It''s STILL the loudest system in town. Rattles my car quite a bit, though.

Gets hot but won''t turnoff

Awesome amp, gets a little hot manual says its not stable below 4ohm bridged mono BS! Go to your local radio shack and stick a 3" computer fan on each end wired into your remote wire and they will run at 1 ohm for hours. I have done so with 4 12" 2001 HE 8 Ohm subs wired in series works great highly suggested. I liked it so much I bought another so I have 6 12"s total I now have 2 800A2 each with 3 12" 8 Ohm HE''s wired in series equaling a 2.6 nominal impedance of 2.6 ohms but the amp sees 1.3 ohms since it is bridged. Very happy with Rockford.

Not 2 Ohm MONO stable, drains alot of power.

I reviewed it before and i liked it, but then it broke. I dont like rockford fosgate products anymore. Dont buy this amp it will break on you. The warranty department on RF products is slow too.

Nice amounts of power.

Gets hot, kinda sloppy at 2 ohm, but will still take it like a champ, will get HOT.

Nice power for the money. Will heat up, and takes mucho amounts of power. Can push mucho amounts of power, and will handle 2 ohm if you can handle the heat. Be prepared to put a new alternator, and battery in, cause this amp will need it. This thing will kill a stock alternator, will heat up, but will put out 1000 watts nicely. If you really want to rock, drop it down to 2 ohm (even though its not rated) and it will rock whatever you put on it, but put a fan (or two) on it, and be prepared to watch the voltage drop to 10v or lower!!

Gets extremely hot. Need special tool to get to gains and crossovers.

Should've bought it at e-bay. Paid 700 big ones for this baby. Got it there for about 400 or less. This baby blows the competition away. Never heard the Alpine v-12 yet but my cuz is installing 2 of them in his car real soon. Heard they shut down a lot after 2 hours of slamming the bass. I have mine rockin a 15" Eclipse 8800 in mono and have slammed it for hours on end and so far it has'nt overheated yet. Reccomendation: Buy 2 of them, hook them up with the biggest wires available, Add on a couple of capacitors, and wire them to 2 15" strokers or Orion hcca's. Then close the doors and rock the system for half an hour. After that, go see a doctor and ask him you have a headache, why your ears hurt, and why in the world are there 3 of you standing in front of me?????
