Small but powerful

Runs hot when dropped to 2 ohms

Running 2 12" Fostgates and get no complaints from all the bass rattling things in my truck. Will run hot eventually so Im running a fan over it.

Very, very powerful when bridged so don't use cheap subs or it will blow them out!

I just got this amp one day ago because I traded my Punch 301X for this 500a2 and this amp really pounds like sooo hard it's no joke! I need a higher a higher watt handling sub because I'm using a 10" kicker solobaric (round one) and this poor sub is getting beat! I recommend this amp to anyone looking for lots of power for subbing!

can u say bass had to buy new tweeters to hear vocals over bass i turn it up all the way i hit 126 db girlfriend hates it i love it cause she cant talk when its cranked up!!!!!

there must be something wrong here. After reading all the other reviews i am confused. I have the punch driving 2 JL Audio 10W6's in sealed box.When I turn it up and it's just sounding like the subs are hitting their stride the sound starts getting all out of shape. I'm going to try driving only one sub.

Havnt found a problem yet, they look better than the new ones but who cares for all the ppl that dont like the looks subs and amps arnt made to be shown theyre made to be heard got it!

I have it hooked up to 2 twelve inch kenwood db+'s KFC-XW1205dB im my F150 never cut out EVER!, And it pounds! I also have 2 XAudio X152 15" 1000wRMS subs hooked up to a 2000w American Legacy Amp all behind my seat in a box 62" long! I think im starting to go deaf lol NEVER!

this amps kicks hard,i am running 2 10 in. hx2's and it is unreal the sound that comes from this system,i have never seen a rockford product that did not live upto its name,these rockford products are the best!anybody that says differant does not know car audio!

this amp rocks. mine pushes 2 crossfire 12's and it hits very hard! it pushes way more power than rockford says it does. all my friends say they can hear me coming from the other end of town!! the cops don't like it though!!!!!
