Strength:

Decent power for its size, and does sound good...when it isn't shutting off from heat.

Weakness:

Terrible reliability. 1st one lasted a few weeks and began overheating (running 2 JL 12w-0). I installed a fan in the trunk and got another amp....now the newer one is doing the same thing. The newer one is less than a year old. I will NEVER buy another Fosgate product again. I had a PPI running at 2 ohms that would run hot as hell, but never had the problems that this Fosgate had. I am really disappointed in this amp.

300.00 paid. I wouldn't recommend it unless you plan to keep the gain turned down. It doesn't last long when pushed very hard.

Strength:

Plays really loud, small footprint

Weakness:

Left channel blew at 1ohm mono

Well I paid like $220 online for it w/shipping, it's been a killer amp for as long as I've had it. It was running 2 Soundstream SPL 10's and I hit 140.1db at 1ohm mono, but I guess the amp can't take that. But I do suggest it, the more you hook to it, the louder it gets, and the more power it outputs, get one, just check what you're hookin up to it!!

Strength:

Well to start off with it's very powerful for it's size. I'm running 3 Fosgate 10"'s and it hits hard. It doesn't take up that much room either.

Weakness:

This unit is pricey but, considering all that it can do it's well worth it!

I bought this amp new shortly after it came out. I paid $195.00 for it but then again I got it at or almost dealer cost. I'd recomend this amp. Espeically if you're using it in a small place.

Well I'm also using a Fosgate Power series 150@1 so they are quite simular. The 250@2 doesn't go quite as low as the Power series amps. Still great though!

Strength:

Sounds great, small and easily concealed, very powerful for such a small amp.

Weakness:

Havent come across any weaknesses. Just pricey but worth it.

I have this amp powering 1 JL 12W6 and it knocks it hard as hell. Im gonna try and run another off of it and see how it sounds. This amp was rated at 402 watts RMS bridged! I recommend it to anyone who wants to power 1 or 2 subs.

I just got this amp about a month ago for two-hundred bucks off the web. I'm using it to drive a single subwoofer and it produces more power than I need. The amp also looks cool and isn't too big. I'm not sure about how this amp sounds on midrange and treble though.

Strength:

A STRONG amp. way more pwr out than expected. Good anti-theft mounting capabilities. compact.

Weakness:

while operating, my box slide in my car, the speaker wires popped out and touched. It fried the amp and the rca outputs on my reciever. This product for the price SHOULD have a breaker in case that happens.

Buy one. youll be surprised what this 250 watt amp can do!

Strength:

Clean distortion free sound when used properly. Looks great! Endcaps add to a clean look. Built in crossovers. Bass Boost.

Weakness:

Gets hot.

This is just a great amp. Does what it says it will do, and does it well. Some of these reviews kill me. Complaints about how the amp does not pump out enough power and how it doesn't run well in 2ohms. Well, hey fellas, the amp isn't supposed to. It's comparable to buying a Saturn and complaining how the car doesn't go fast enough and overheats for some reason when I drive over 150mph. Come on. This amp puts out great distortion free sound. I use it to run a single Infinity Perfect 10" and the setup is incredible. I previously ran an Infinity Beta Digital which was also tremendous but I didn't like the fact that I needed to run an external crossover with that unit. I had to reclaim my trunk space, so I sold the Beta Digital and bought myself one of these Rockford Fosgates. I got it on ebay for an unbelivable $155 with shipping. It would be worth it for double the price. If what you are looking for is a good, clean, distortion free amp to run one or two 4ohm subs, you will not be disappointed. Then again if you are looking to run 4 subs in parallel, you probably will be.
