THIS AMP THIS THE BEST AMP I EVER USED I GOT IT POWERING 3 10INCH JLW3D6 SUBWOOFERS IT IS THE LOUDEST IN MY SCHOOL N THE LOUDEST IN HAMILTON ALONE NO1 HAS LOUDER N ITS THANX TO THE JL 1000/1MONO CLASS D AMPLIFIER (GET THE 1000/1 MIGHT B EXPENSIVE BUT ITS WORTH WORTH EVERY PENNY 4 ME:)

Awesome amp and works wonders with a 12w7. It isn't nice to a trunk. I am selling this setup and was wondering if anybody that is reading this is interested. Email me so we can work out a deal. I want to get around $1350 for the 12w7 and the 1000/1.

I have 1 13w7 that i bought and decieded to buy a amp, so i read all these reviews in here about the jl 1000/1 so i went ahead and bought it. Let me be honest. DO NOT BUY THIS AMP. IT TAKES TOO MUCH CURRENT AND YOU CAN GET A BETTER AMP CHEAPER. I BOUGHT A MMATS D100HC 1400WATTS RMS @ 12V .7OHMS JUST WHAT I NEEDED. MMATS D100HC IS THE BEST THING FOR YOU 13W7.

You spend a lot of time trying to adjust everything. A bit pricey.

I have this amp pushing 2 10 inch Treo Street Series subs in a small sealed box. (I own a Mustang so that's about all that will fit. Check out the Treo's they are great subs though kind of pricey.) The SQ, which is what I was going for, is amazing and I have a fairly high SPL as well. This amp gives huge amounts of good clean power and my stock alternator seems to be powering it nicely. I'd recommend this amp to anyone that can afford it and needs the power.

I love all the different adjustments on this baby, it took me a month to get tweaked just right, but man does it sound gooooooood! One other thing I noticed was that it's quite efficient at playing deep synthesized bass notes.(50Hz and below) It hardly made my lights dim. It has excellent cooling efficiency too! I got this thing mounted vertically, but there's no braething room on the surface of the unit, but it keeps on pumpin'.

I definitely would recommend no less than 4 guage power leads and a 1-Farad cap to back it up. I got just a stock batt & alternator and with the cap, my volts at the batt drop to 11.5 on peaks! Thank you JL for the R.I.P.S power supply!!!!!

I've had some good amps, but the JL is the boss as far as absolute power and SQ goes. Did I mention all the bells & whistles? I used to have a Phoenix MS 2125 running 2 pioneer IMPP 15's until I got tired of 'em. So I did some research and a little math and decided to go with just one 12W7 and a 1000/1. Holy $%#@! I couldn't believe my ears! My 1000 just dumps like GOD on that 12W7! I did a custom encosure that took 2 months to calculate and also a 1/4 scale model to boot. My buddy built me the box in 11 hours! No, the box wasn't simple, but it is definitely braced well. By itself, it weighs 45 lbs. and net internal sealed volume is 1.43 cu. ft. It nearly did a 140 at 50Hz in my civic! My 2 15's did a 142.5, but the didn't get as low as the 12W7 with a 1000/1 behind it.

yeh yeh yeh it works just as everyone says, but it kill altinators and batteries, it pops the 100 amp breaker the instuctions call for allen screws suck you strip em yor screwed. pain in the ass amps ive built much more fore so much less without the hassel

The Best Amp on the market Period!! You need some good Woofers that can handle this piece. If you get cheap ones they are sure to blow.....so boss up !!

People need to stop comparing this amp to all the others. There are no comparisons!!! Dont cheat yourself!

This amp is sick as f... Honestly there is no amp even near this one. If you think you have beat and dont own this amp you really dont have beat. Give it all the power it needs and we are damn near at 1500 WATTS Raw Power

crazy amounts of power.... doesn't heat up... hardly breaks a sweat.

i went through 8 subs in 5 weeks with this beast... she sends the power.... now i gotta find a sub that can take the punishment

can words really describe this amp? i was running a rockford bd1000 to 2 Rockford 10 inch HX2's... it overheated.. never kept up the power through the whole song.... bought the 1000/1.... it blew my HX2's pretty well right outa the box.. .had to upgrade to 2 JL W6v2's

note really a weakness, but sucks juice from battery and alt.

bought htis amp with 2 jl 12w6v2, what can i say "wow". this amp sounds great and has plenty of raw power. bass hits hard and clean. i would highly recommend.
